In case you ever wanted a small Ligonesian Girl, here you have her. The main motivator of the trip, and (arguably) the team leader, also the Daughter of Mia, and one of Shiki’s students. Young, energetic, enthusiastic and athletic, but not too smart and rather naive, being more of a “Happy-go-lucky”. Back at Yumeisotitania, she’d be 21 (as years in that planet are shorter), and technically allowed to drive. But here, she perhaps is better not being behind the wheel because… Well, age. While some may judge her as fat just because of her weight, it’s worth mentioning her right leg is a metal ROBOTIC prothesis, and since Yumeisotitania has developed advanced robotic prothesis (but hasn’t quite developed lightweight prothesis yet - things don’t seem to add up, but in Yumeisotitania things are that way), so, blame that, because her actual weight is closer to 45 or 50kg. Yes, she’s a strong girl ! Currently an Uni student at Ligonesia (albeit she’s stayed a few semesters off Uni by this point !).
She likes to sing, dance, take photos, play videogames, watch movies, play soccer, and surf. She has Telepathy, Mind Reading, Pyrokinesis (the ability to generate and control fire), Increased Speed, and Extrasensorial Perception. She’s a lactose intolerant too.

Mia’s youth may have not been the best or the smoothest, but it certainly was beautiful… And then she lost her sterility with Mimi. Despite that sounding harsh, between Mother and Daughter, they go along like bread and butter, although maybe with the occasional squabble. Mia is a widow, or, so she thinks, just because she’s “divorced”, and she tends to use food to comfort herself. She has a specially protective personality over her daughter, but, in the end she always allows her to do what she wants, as long as she doesn’t drag her into trouble or gets into trouble herself. A bit apathetic, and a bit depressive, yet relatively easy to lift up, smart, careful, and with a motherly sense even for the people who ain’t her children. She currently works as a test subject for some company in other country back at Yumeisotitania. She’s also friends with Shiki and Saki.
Likes to sing, dance, take photos, sometimes do sports, sleep, and eat frequently. She also likes to drink. She has the same powers as her daughter, but also has Increased Strength, Increased Resistance, and the ability to Hypnotize. Also same as Mimi, she’s a lactose intolerance. She’s also a bit of a Nymphomaniac, but, those days have long passed, and she has learned how to control herself.

Saki isn’t the most social individual once you think about it. Though she is good friends with Mia. She’s not Ligonesian, but Tanatahuan (from the Tanatahu Islands, a relatively small nation [imagine French Polynesia] not far from Ligonesia [imagine the Solomon Islands]), but moved to Ligonesia because Mia convinced her and Shiki (Saki’s younger sister) to do so. Saki works as a computer developer (mind you, Yumeisotitania seems that it is, and will continue to be stuck in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s) and an indie game developer. So she’s the tech-specialist of the group. She’s also an outrageous glutton, a yappy-happy nerd, and a bit of a perv (you know, the sort of perv who, on her teenage days, would sneak into the men’s bathroom, or fantasize about… Things). No wonder why she’s also the weirdo of the group. A bit pessimistic, serious, and sometimes easy to get mad, but, also easy to soothe down, and eager to learn. She’s been trying to develop (unsuccessfully) a program to stablish communications between Yumeisotitania and Earth.
She likes to be on her Laptop, her phone, likes to yap, draw, write, read, and toil around mechanical or electronical things. She has Telekinesis, Extrasensorial Perception, Geokinesis (the ability to control terrain, earth, rocks, etc), Increased Resistance, The ability to turn into a Statue (just like Kanna!) and the ability to induce sleep.
Shiki Penyatsudorinkalejena doah Atari

Shiki is Saki’s younger sister, and was born in the Fico Islands (also close to Ligonesia, this time a larger nation [imagine the Philippines]). She’s a University Teacher, working at Ligonesia National University, and amongst her students is Mimi. Mimi ultimately told her of SR (which was the event they were planning to enter initially, more on that later), and inevitably, Shiki couldn’t avoid Asking Mia if she could come along. Mia, inevitably, said “Wita!” (“Yes!”, in Yumeisotitanian). Positively-minded, Relaxed, Joyful, but also relatively smart and knowledgeable, Shiki values everyone’s morale, which is one of the reasons people love her as teacher.
She likes to learn, read, write, draw, take photos, watch movies, do sports… Travel… She has Telepathy, Extrasensorial Perception, Hydrokinesis (the ability to control and manipulate water!), Increased Speed, and the ability to Hypnotize.

An special entry from none other than YEAR ! You see, the initial plan for DYCT, was to enter SR and go to Aetherii, where it’d not be a problem if they don’t know English… But, since this event is to take on Earth, they needed some quick lessons… Since Anyel (formerly Ángel, I’ll explain some stuff on SR 2026 if it happens) was their teacher, but their English isn’t as fluent or refined as he’d desire, just for precaution, he’s sending Kanna, who works as a Cook, and takes part in a small garage band. She formerly lived in Tokyo, but has moved to Canada. And yes, she’s still the Happy-go-lucky, funny, cutesy and friendly girl people remember from last year’s 24 Hours of Clunkers. So she’s all kindness and not with a thought behind those eyes.
She ADORES eating, but she also likes to cook, to draw, sing, dance, sometimes do sports, and joke around… And making friends, of course. She also loves to drink. She has Mind Reading, Telepathy, Increased Resistance and Strength, Geokinesis, and the ability to transform into a Statue. You already know.
The Machine
The AktoKarso 4433 1.5C !
Here it is ! An AktoKarso 4433 (4×4, 4-Speed Manual, 3-Cylinder, 3-Door), mistakenly badged as a 1.3 when it’s actually a 1.5 3-Cylinder making a whopping 55hp or so… Made in the Yumeisotitanian Equivalent of 1988.
Where did they get it from ? Unknown… Quite literally ! Same as this team, this car got teleported to Earth by “a beam of light”. With their SR entry suddenly deciding to stop working, they had to hurriedly modify this damaged example to spec. And so, with help from our partners at YEAR, it’s here, and on it’s way to the start line at Faro.
It’s not perfect. Far from. Yumeisotitanian quality has never been known for being… Good. Cars made at Karso (one of the most advanced nations), are no exception…
Even less when the car is in this condition: The Soft-Top has seen better days, as it leaks and has a bit of wear, the Radio doesn’t work, some of the dials stop working all of sudden, it overheats at times due to a fan and radiator on their last legs (albeit with fixes to aid reliability somewhat), the transmission has a hard time getting into 2nd or 3rd, the steering, and the clutch are both vague, one of the headlights doesn’t work, one of the reverse lights doesn’t work, the passenger side door (in this RHD car) doesn’t open, the Windscreen Wipers screech and sometimes fail, glass is cracked, dents and scratches and dirt all over the car, there’s a small hole in the grille… The suspension is bouncy as hell, it’s a bit crammed inside (not least when 3 out of 5 people in this team are overweight!)…
Yet, it’s perfect for this team. It’s not fast, nor spacious, nor very reliable, but, It’s cute, it’s agile, it has 4WD, Diff-Locks, Low-High Range, and is even capable of some things one wouldn’t think. Overall, a solid car for these girls, and certainly something that they consider appropriate.
