I agree, also most of new workshop entries are meme/shitpost mods, that have no real use for more serious players. So yes, more (and also useful) 4.2 mods.

I don’t know, I think that the mods for the current version are generally more serious and less weeb/furry stuff…?

I’m mostly pointing out mods, that don’t have much use, like for example, the harvester body, Lego bricks mod, solar panels etc. You get the point here, I guess. Also, less and less 4.1 mods (mainly the good ones) are being updated for current version or in worse case, abandoned by the original authors.

A lot of mods became part of the game, a lot got already updated, some modders switched from making mods to making stuff directly added into the game, which also might make the amount of new “normal” mods lower compared to “weird” ones. TBH from the top of my head I can’t tell if any significant 4.1 mod is missing in 4.2 at this point.

I’m kinda missing some body mods, which were widely used back in 4.1 (like Carabo body, Eldorado body or that nice 2020 concept car body). In terms of fixtures, yes, there is enough stuff, even previous mods became vanilla content (like those cool 70’s lights and bumpers). Even my old friend, who still plays the game told me, that some old 4.1 bodies would be nice if either updated or in best case scenario, ported into the game as vanilla content, so the original modders would have less work with them.

The problem is that some modders aren’t doing anything anymore either, Accent is an example and Maxbombe isn’t active at the moment either. without the data, the mods cannot be updated, which is a real shame
