Hey, this is interesting since it really has lots of styling cues from the Shoebox Ford and yet looks very much like a Mustang.

Yeah, that’s why i liked this version the best, it seemed the perfect blend. Some versions were more 49 Ford, others were more Mustang.

Smart Cars? Oh wait…
not really, as smart cars are not a class of cars and Smart was initially made with Mercedes, but as its own brand so it doesn’t have the Mercedes design language. Also Kei cars have a limited engine size and only the first generation Smart can also be considered a Kei car. In any case this is more for fun. 
Actually, the initial thoughts was that Swatch should cooperate with VAG for the Smart car, but in the end it became Daimler Benz for some reason.
