You’re the new face in this world. Unknown, untested, and ready to make your mark. From humble backstreets to the Shuto Expressway, your goal is simple: Climb the ranks. Earn respect. Become a legend. But the brighter you burn, the more eyes you attract: rivals hungry for your spot and cops watching for any excuse. Race hard, tune sharper, and learn to push the limit without getting pulled over.
The game isn’t about buying perfection, it’s about building it.
Every car starts ordinary. It’s up to you to turn it into a street icon with body kits, wings, neon underglow, vinyl wraps, and splitters. The garage is your canvas, and your ride is your brush. From scrappy starter builds to full-blown showstoppers, every detail matters when the world is watching from the sidelines.
This is your story.
This is Midnight Velocity.
The developers are seeking new vehicle designs for the upcoming game:
Your task goes as following:
The goal is to create 2 vehicles: the first is the untuned stock version of your car (the player’s starter car), the other is the customised, street racer that will appear in the game’s promotional material.
- Game version: both Stable and Al Rima are allowed!
- Model / trim year: No newer than 2005
- Model / Family name: AGC41 [STABLE] / [ALPHA] - Username
- Trim / Variant name: Free
- Advanced trim settings: Completely allowed
- Body styles: Coupe, hatchback, sedan, wagon
- Interiors won’t be judged
- Engineering won’t be judged
- Both cars are submitted to me via the forums
- Each entry is allowed 1 resubmission
- Submissions open: November 12th, 2025, 00:00 CET (UTC+1)
- Submissions close: November 26th, 2025, 23:59 (your timezone)
- An ad is required to be posted no later than 24h after the deadline
- The post needs to have at least 1 photo of both the stock & the tuned car
The developers would like to see a car that tells the story of a 0 to a hero character. The player won’t show up to their first race in a bright green Lamborghini, but most likely in their moms old Corolla. What I’m trying to say is that the car should look like it belongs in a game like this.
Something that looks unassuming at first but becomes a true racing star after a few visits in the tuning shop.
Each entry will be judged in 2 parts:
- design: I will mostly focus on the stock car’s styling, since it mostly stays the same on the tuned car
- Modifications: What changes were made to turn the original car into it’s modified form.
