American Road Trip Challenge [finished]

On a side note, restomodded luxury GT lost in hauling groceries to a field full of sedans and pickuptrucks? WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! XD

Also, @asdren do you think we could get some sort of trump cards to see what we’re up against? Just a bit of info, nothign in depth

Don’t forget the hatchbacks. Looks like those and the wagons and the trucks put the hurt down on those of us with more… normal cars.

I think that’s a good idea. I’ll include Body type, trim year, hp, (engine type maybe?) and weight in kg in the results (where they matter).

14th place isn’t bad knowing what I went up against.

Well, there goes out totally not over 300 hp secret.

It has starteed
aww that’s not the type of a challenge I had in mind… fingers crossed for the next one

Oh boy! New York, my home state!
Facts aside, seems like I’m doing well at this point. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Going truck seems to have worked out in your favor on this challenge. Cargo space gave the trucks a win there, and rightly so.

Oh wow. I already love the format of this. Can’t wait for round two!

Welp, I’m already second-guessing myself… can’t wait to see the rest of the challenges, I hope this will be worth it!

Also, I didn’t come in last, so that’s good

Next stop: Columbus. Password: notround1

Results and some basic contestant info will be posted tomorrow.

Quarter mile drag race! Now this should be perfect for me!

I’m hoping there’s no replacement for displacement here.

Hmm, this could be troublesome. A twenty foot pickup truck did well for shopping but a drag race would be troublesome.

Nope, my eco engined car is not going to do well here!

hmm my hotrod not doing so well…doesn’t matter I look and sound cool

Glad to see I’ve got the most complicated alphanumeric name… and every one of those characters has a meaning  So far going for a wagon (always a good idea for a road trip) seems to be working out fairly well.

well being a hatchback and completely blind to the challenges, regretted i took out that 3 extra seats.
not a great start

now a drag race, although doesn’t have THAT much power, but accessible boost from as low as 3k rpm. i think that will help me.

No turbo lag, high power, and all wheel drive. It’ll be interesting to see which of us gets the drag race.

Well, good bye 9th position. Pretty sure my car is the slowest of the group

537ci of 2 valve should put me in the middle I guess…big engine not fast but it looks cool.
