Did you use a steam mod? If yes, then tell me which one and I’ll download it.
Wing03 by Corvette6317 on Steam. You may have to reload the car and reapply any adjustments to get the wing back. Yes, I know the wing’s more modern than what was typically available back in the 50’s, but I didn’t feel any of the other wings exactly fit the car.
most power hype!!!
I forgot the Bogliq! I’ll add it now.
Antoher car has been rejected, but as the rule violations are far from being serious, I guess the vehicle will be revised quick enough to take part.
@JohnWaldock as you say power hype, here are the horsepower numbers (descending from the strongest):
Journeyman: 420 HP
Goblin: 419 HP
Spool: 402 HP
Jericho: 310 HP
Indian: 289 HP
Indianapolis: 287 HP
Prince: 234 HP
Hare: 205 HP
The Journeyman with an engine on the top of the allowed size (5900cm) delivers more than twice the power of the Hare’s engine being just of the minimum size (4000ccm).
i will also mention that you put an extra L in my name. and, by happy accident, i’ve now got the name for my older cars
Hmm, heaviest car in the bunch… would a demolition derby be in the realm of possibility?
The same thing for my entry in Hot Lap Challenge. My car there would crush everything.
As long we cant import the cars to BeamNG, demolition derbys will stay a dream here.
Well, I already tried some funny storytelling for the reviews and your cab is excellent stuff for that.
Fun fact: Future Petoskey Motors CEO Eleanor Ventnor was born in the back seat of a Petoskey Indian taxi. A lesser known fact was that she was conceived in one too.
Obviously, Mr. Ventnor wasn’t a child of sadness.
Hey guys, I want to join.
I want to ask, how do I post my car?
I’ve got a mod too - it’s the Wiri Scoop by Raz in the workshop.
It stops the top of the camshaft timing gears sticking up through the bonnet.
…So just wondering… who else is already planning their next car? I already have 2 or 3 possible entries ready except for fine tuning and another that I have only thought of, as well as a wide variety of cars ranging from a van with a v12 and a face that screams “LOOK AT ME MOMMY, I AM A RACE CAR!”, as well as a small hatchback equipped with a racing phonograph, and of course a normal coupe that you’d expect.
I’ve got a few ideas rolling around, but nothing set in stone just yet.
I’m thinking of using another one of my models for the next one.
i have an idea. it’s gonna be another van.
1956 is full now!
Three more cars:
The SME C1 comes with a classic Chevrolet Small Block. Although as lowtech as the Petoskey cab, this beautiful car should get your attention.
G+C Jefferson ST: It reminds me a little of a Trabant, especially with that color. But this car is far from being a Trabant! Over 300hp, monocoque and fibre glass panels with a very advanced suspension make that car one of the most competetive.
Fahrzeug Flyer: An impressive power-to-weight ratio and a setup similar to the Jefferson, another strong entry here!
Just hit the “export” button and send me the zip file via PM.
As 1956 is full now, you can enter for the 1958/1959 season.
RULES FOR SEASON 2
ENGINE:
As most of you build small and light cars, the minimum engine size was a burden - so it is reduced one liter. On the other hand, heavy vans and taxis can have even bigger ones.
SIZE BETWEEN 3000 AND 7500 CCM
Have you ever seen a race car in mass production? Me neither. So race parts, except slicks, are allowed. But the maximum loudness should remain under 70 to make the cars road-legal
RACE INTAKE AND HEADER ALLOWED
MAXIMUM LOUNDNESS 70
In Season 1, there was confusion if the reliability should be 30 or 35. As buyers of high performance cars should know that the engine needs constant attention, 32,5 should be enough.
ENGINE RELIABILITY AT LEAST 32,5
CAR:
As smaller engines are allowed, it is just the right measure to lower the minimum weight.
MINIMUM WEIGHT 900 KG
The rest remains unchanged. First post will be updated later.
Looks like the goblin might not have the engine bay the support the new max engine size and yet the van I made in the event engine size is increased still doesn’t have a small enough engine to work, and the point of my racing phonograph has been negated by the lowered weight minimum! …looks like I might have to try something new.
Edit: Yesss found a nice body that fits what I want to an extent and can fit a 7.5L V12.
I got quite a few 1958 entrants already, and the first season starts in 3 hours.
That is quite impressive.
So prepare to get the review in approx. 15 hours, it is a lot to race, note, write and calculate.
Man, everyone here is building a nice looking, nice performance car. While my car is just a trash can with wheels.
