At least you now know and won’t messed up! Well there’s still the submission files naming minefield to contend with, so I hope you did that correctly.

Ok, here is my submission.

The 1969 LHE Co Cosmic Mark 1, built to be an answer to the growing desire for a four seater family sports coupe.

Mars Engineering enters the Competition with the 1990 ME Vermicularis.

It follows the tradition of being underpowered.

The Znopresk entry MY1988!

Not a Zest, even if was an appropriate name for a Lemon car :stuck_out_tongue:

Whats a good lemon’s race without some 80’s american muscle mixed in? Here’s a '85 Centauri knight with a 500 horsepower 427 swapped into it, it’s got plenty of power but I’d watch out being behind it. Between the totally unrestricted exhaust system, and the not quite tuned right six pack carbs running rich for power and response there’s going to be quite a vapor cloud behind this car.

Lemons…lemons everywhere

How bout Kumquat?

Oh wait, not this one…

1995 one from Poland

Here’s my underpowered lemon!!

The NOT R5… Turbo!! yeeeii \m/

Here’s my entry: a heavily-modified, stripped-out 1985 PAW Murina NC, with sunroof.

Four doors, four cylinders, front-engine, front-wheel-drive, 1.6L turbo and an absolutely hilarious yaw rate curve. This car oversteers and oversteers and oversteers until about 1.3 gs of lateral force, at which point snap understeer. Should be plenty of tyre noise for the fans!

Hey, people.

I appreciated your good intention renaming the files. But as I stated clearly in the original post that you do it IN GAME. I don’t know what the hell you are thinking. Because renaming it in the folder, outside the game. In my game, the name is not going to be the same as the file name itself, and if you’ve named it ingame as something undecipherable. I considered it to be you actively trying to screw me over. I do not appreciated that.

But if you name the files correctly in game. You DO NOT have to rename the files itself. It’s simply is not needed. If I have a good intention of making you all life a little bit easier. Do please appreciate it and do it as I told you to. Don’t over think about it. When I put up a system that works with both me and you. I usually have already put some thought behind it. I know foolproof idea will get ruined by some people who can’t read. But sometime when you think you’ve helped me, it doesn’t really. Because the first thing I look at is the file name, and if it isn’t like other’s people file, I usually assume you’re like those idiot who don’t read. Even if your intention was a good looking short file name, but that doesn’t help when it’s different from every other people’s files. TL;DR: Thanks, but no thanks.

Thanks.

(People who’ve submitted a car before this posts are all fine. Or I’ll at least pretend they’re fine. And I hope it stay that way after this post.)

Look at how neat and tidy this is!

I almost want to lick it.

Swanson Motorsports Engineering enters the competition. (assuming it passes scrutineering and file-naming-convention-eering)

This is the first car ever produced by SME. The 1982 Alpha RS 302. Of course, it’s not in it’s factory form, as it is more than 30 years old! Powered by 302 cubic inches of American V8 pushrod glory (aren’t all SME cars?), and converted to run high-octane leaded fuel, this car is loud, obnoxious, and dirty as F**K. In the spirit of the Centari Knight from nialloftara, this American Pony Car should be super fun to watch!

(The car was already built, so renaming was a nightmare…I hope it worked!)

@07CobaltGirl: That is a lovely snarling brute of a muscle car. Especially like the side profile.

Thanks! It’s pretty underpowered (as were most muscle cars of the 80s), but budget issues really limited performance.

So, the deadline is here. Anybody who hasn’t send in a revision in time cannot do so anymore without bribes!

Here is the list of the eligible entries. In order of inspection.

Hopefully the next time this happens I will have access to the Kiwi weapon of choice, the Subaru turbocharged flat four.

(According to Subaru themselves, New Zealanders buy more of their cars per capita than anybody else in the world. That’s not even counting the hordes of ex-Japanese Subarus that are imported every year.)

I am instantly reminded of:

So here is the result of the first race! With some very ghetto graph that I hope is interesting to go along with!

The result of the next race is going to come tomorrow! Stay tuned!

WOW, my car was faster than I thought it would be… Probably felt like you were sailing on some rough seas at the same time although it can pull a tiny bit over 1G on the skidpad. And look at all you other guys, cant even get a perfect time :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m surprised I’m near the front, after even going so far as to sacrifice the double wishbones just to fit a larger engine  POWAAAAAAAAA
