BRC 1966 - Gentleman Brobots Club [RACE 7 P&Q]
Well that is complete bullshit then!
Mind your language and tone please. Der Bayer has put in countless work and effort for this fun challenge. Show some respect please.

damn… i meant to resubmit a car before the test…

but BRCTool is still doing un-understandable thing for me… and only for me… wtf?
but i know that this one isn’t der bayer’s or the programs fault.

guessing something with my drivers or something with my computer isn’t compatible with what’s being used for BRCTool

How many blown engine was there? Maybe time to do a test on the fuel available at the track.
I think fuel consumption in the rain might be bugged - according to my calculations based on the test practice session, my car should have expended ~26.6 kg of fuel in half an hour, not 21.2 kg.
It makes sense to me : The practice was during dry condtion and the race was under wet condition. And when the grip decreases, you have a slower pace and apply less throttle overall so you consume less fuel…right ?

Also Haha I am the revs champion xD

Hmmmm - I guess I should look to see how much tyre spin I would have with 20% less grip, but I didn’t think it would be THAT much…

not quite impressed and sastifying because i still cant managed to hit 2:20 but at least is a lot better. i hope my stancenati… i mean my extreme chamber setting doesnt really hit me when the real race hit.

That’s why I was asking the questions about tyre wear - so I could judge from wear in training whether I would profit from changing tyres more often.

I was thinking more about having to take corners at a lower speed and having to brake earlier(both from lower cornering speed and tyres being easier to lockup).

Der Bayer is still awesome for making all of this, but the BRC just hates OHV.

@07CobaltGirl: Oof. I am growing increasingly in favor of RobtheFiend’s proposal:

(But yes, thank you so much, Der Bayer, for running the competition! And not just because I have a shot at a top-ten finish in the series, either!)

I’m running SOHC 3-valve… still engine kablooie. :frowning:

So what I gathered from that, was that my car is still OK, but other than that I have no idea what to exoectbor how to “win”!

That’s real racing!

My car was very close to win.
In Grand Prix, I need more luck and refined strategy to win.

and IF name == “NormanVauxhall” {engineBlown = true}; :smiley:

I was crazy lucky in this race to get through so much stuff unscathed. And that rain picking up at the end… xD

Holy crap I just noticed my car got like 90% damage spinning into the barriers on the POMMS sickle when the rain got heavier. So that’s why I went from 7th to 16th, I was getting the works in the pit! Well that explains everything. (At least I was lucky and managed to limp into the pits as opposed to squidhead who crashed at exactly the same time. That heavy rain really took out quite a few drivers!)

Is it too late to submit an entry?

No it is not, 29th is the deadline.

Yep,it’s like 1955 all over again…but with RAIN!

Der Bayer has absolutely outdone himself with the all new BROBOT, it really is positively brilliant. (Needs more superlatives). Thank you!

That rain at the end was great, I think Killrob must have been doing a rain dance. I am very happy with the 4th place.

I think the amount of failures and errors was notable.

I really liked all the cars on the track, so much action all the time
