Yeah, scrolling down might fix your issue. I know that there is now scrollbar
Tyres and weather
A few people have asked about if how the different tyre compounds react differently in wet conditions. I.e. Semi Slicks should be worse in wet conditions that Sports or even Medium tyres. This has now been implemented. The effect is not very big, but gives the usually less grippy a small advantage (or a smaller disadvantage) than in dry conditions. The pic below shows normalized grip over track humidity. I.e. the base tyre grip is multiplied with the factor shown in the graphs. Use these graphs to refine your tyre/weather strategy.
Very nice, thank you! Haha shame I just resubmitted sorry Bayer for extra work with PMs
Cool - that chart will definitely help with formulating tyre strategy.
^That is extremely helpful. Really makes the numbers all make so much more sense. Iāll probably be submitting one of my prototypes very soon now that I know what Iām looking at.
is there any fix for the trim loading error yet? my entries seems have problem with BRC tools
though i almost give up to tuning futher after my car cant reach the 2.21 barrier

Try moving all of the files except the car you want to load. The tool worked for me the first time with all the files in the folders, but when I submitted a revision it wouldnāt work if any other files were in the folders. It would show me every single file EXCEPT the one I was trying to submit. Go figureā¦computers!
Cheers for the great data Der Bayer! Now it isnāt just a guessing game anymore Hope thisāll bring some interesting strategies this season.
Is 100% humidity normal constant rain, or more like a serious storm?
100% rain is a decent storm.

Iām looking into it. Deleting old .lua files and removing the subfolders in Cars/Trims, Cars/Models, Engines/Variants and Engines/Families makes it work now already.
A have no idea how some of you are dropping below or even coming close to 2.22ā¦ I am at 2.23 and something and can not drop further with any legal body-engine-material-suspension combo.
Have you tried adding more weight and power?
I tried on other models that as well but I just fail to tune or balance them well enough to even drop below 2.24ā¦with current model thou I want to avoid that bit but looks a have no choice. I think I will leave it as it is for first test and than see if lightness and efficiency pays ofā¦or new engine is coming in.
for me, making the car light by as possible morphing the bodyshell is the best way to get fastest time record on automation test track and also make sure too your car able to accelerate fast as possible like 0-100km/h in about 5 sec and need to make sure the power/weight ratio doesnt go over 0.25. or maybe you need to look your suspension setup and tuning it more
though im still quite far from reaching 2.21.xx but the result is quite sastifying overall.
seeing the times that people gotā¦ makes me consider another strategy. instead of being blinding fast, maybe just be fast-ish, but be as consistent as possibleā¦
i cant even get 2:22, or 5 sec 0-60.
0-100 in 5s generally requires you to have a lot of weight over the driving wheels, namely an MR car (or rear engined??? havenāt tried that yet).
But some of the FR setups are almost just as fast around the track, even though they take an extra second or so to get to 100km/h. That said, you can also use the morphs to change the weight distribution, however slightly.
since i hardly got any time at the moment it would be great to have some indication on how long we can enter this. this looks ueber-fun!
4.5 sec for the 0-100 here. Down to 2.23 now. But yeah it requires a fat ass block on the rear. And some very weird camber. Including positive one.
Is it a viable solution? Probably not. But thatās what Iāll have to send for the first pre-season test. And now that mock exams kicked in I wonāt really have time to fix it in the next few days.
I canāt just manage to get similar laptimes with a slightly different front tyre width and the setup going along.
For the Automation challenges, RL time and availability is key
What do you mean by 5s? I have 5.x seconds 0-100 on FR. And I suck at suspensions but still below 2:22.
2:23s with a solid live axle.
but why?
