BRC - Out of the Steam - 1945 [Final Race Results]

Thats actually why my 0-100 time is CRAP compared to the other top trump cards, but I can hold my own against the top cars because I corner fast and keep my speed, relying on my 80-100 acceleration.

Funnily enough this is something that has been seen (but largely unnoticed) since the track simulators were introduced just about a year ago!

Most of my race tunes were well down on the 0-100 times. It was mid-range acceleration where races are won/lost. Which is why I’m going to be sitting in my peaky lightweight, terrified of the heavier torque monsters in this BRC… just think of how much overtaking they can get done…

Training for Race 4 has been finished! Watch here: http://youtu.be/1m9a9LQuCJE

In addition to that, I want to reveal the secret final track of the Season: Norisring. Tight corners and straights should make overtaking possible and favor the cars with good acceleration.

They are moving so slow on that track XD.

Decent result for me… too many errors by the way.
Intresting last track.

be lucky to score a point here.

What kind of fuel consumption does Flax have? :astonished:

Wow, sooo many errors :frowning:
At least I got to keep Absurdist company way out in front…

I think this race is going to come down to errors, though - in the second training cadre, a single error cost me something like twenty-five seconds in Sector 2. That would be enough to drop Absurdist from first to fifth by itself.

In my estimation, TheBobWiley’s car would be faster if not for the number of errors made. So, I’d say Absurdist is the favorite … but I don’t think anyone in the top five should count themselves out.

I thought the error number shown was the speed lost? Some people end up with 100+ error numbers yet they do not fall to last place…
Also, I am extremely pleased to give Absurdist a run for his money in normal starts considering he lowered his weight through the safety “cheat”. Nothing against him on that, I just like that I was able to compete with it

Error number is a percentage of some kind - my 25-second error was a 90-something. Damage is also percentages, not time.

The good news is, I did not run out of fuel and may actually have a chance to qualify.

The bad news is…

Yep, my car STILL sucks!

O, ok. I guess I had the error system in my mind wrong.

WHOOO! 3rd in qualification! 1p! \o/
Bottles of fine italian wine will be opened at the Znopresk pit. Everyone invited!

23rd - but dollars to donuts that I don’t finish that high, either stint.

Wow, GH really shows the difference in the cars… that spread of 1-lap times is insane

Failed to qualify.
Again.
What a surprise.

Without errors my car is 3 seconds faster than absurdist… ok driver… its all up to you, do not fail me.

Qualified 10th, currently in 10th place in points…

With a little luck I will stay in the top 10.

Wooo, I got in! yay!
