Looks like I’ve been playing it too safe for the budget… still, glad to know the UL300 has a chance on the screen
The next person showing up is actress Nicole Korte, displaying Kriminalkommissarin Sarah Maier.
NK: Wait… what? Only four cars? Phillip has 6, Franz has 7 and I guess Ralf will have also like 6, why can´t people just tell me that they hate me? Just write me off the show if nobody wants to see me on screen…
MM: Nicki, please, not your bpd kicking in once again. You are doing great. It´s just that your character is more diverse and its harder for manufactors to offer something really representing your value.
NK: Oh Mike, thanks for being so kind, although I don´t deserve that…
JH: Can we get to work, please? Four nice vehicles, with the first being a Fischer Flavourous by @azkaalfafa . Small, nimble, reliability is ok. Not really comfortable, sadly. No highlight, but it´s surely understated but standing out.
NK: I loooooove the design. It´s so cute but also so mean. For me it´s a go. Especially since it´s by far the cheapest and Sarah is always broke and has a low-class attitude.
The Fischer Flavourous might become Sarahs car.
NK: That IP Celestia by @Knugcab a bit too masculine. Make it black and give it Phillip. It´s a bit too prestigious and expensive to buy and run. However, IP always surprises me with great comfort and reliability. I mean, its a cool car. Can you give me your thoughts on it?
MM: You´re on screen to show that girls can be as tough as men and you even drove a f…cking V8 in season 3 before. This car is doing great. But she is right about the cost. Quite a sum to afford if a stunt goes wrong, and the servicing is really a nightmare with all that hightech stuff.
Hard to decide. If it was season 8 when the Gasmean blockbuster Rapid and Furious appeared in the cinemas, trashy girls with fast Ariyan machines were the dream of the young male main spectators of Notruf 110. But the benefits of such combination of girl and car are still rather unknown in Hetvesia 2000.
NK: Whooops, that color is daring. A car somewhere between wagon and offroad… in orange? Must see that. Design is quite boring but the overall concept and the color flash it up.
JH: Its an Epoch M30 by @machalel. Not a bad car. Too much overdrive, too strong front brakes (OOC: Your cars all missed an adaption to the update, that´s why they fall back). Reliability is ok, but lowest drivability, comfort and safety. Not really bad, but it doesn´t stand a chance against the others in value for money. The Fischer is 10.000 less and only has a bit worse comfort due to the smaller size.
Your most competetive entry so far, but it´s still falling behind and therefore out. The color will surely make it stand out in a pileup on the highway, so it should be easy to spot despite becoming an NPC vehicle in the show.
NK: Ooooh, that´s so beautiful. That design is a go. No more need to check.
MM: Would you at least be pretending to listen to us? That Frunian beauty has a price, but its easier to service than the IP and equally reliable, weird enough for a Frunian car. Tops in safety just as the IP, but has slightly less comfort. On the other hand, the handling is pure passione. The stunt crew loved it for being precise and controllable like something with the class of a midrange Zephorus. Between this and the IP its a design and general style question.
NK: Although the IP is cool, rather this then. It´s far more cute.
The Vivierna Serigala by @Ludvig might become Sarahs car.
And the last bunch…
JH: Hey, Rolf! So you are the new detective, well I know you from the daily soap of FFF, right?
RW: Ralf, not Rolf. My name is Ralf Wernicke. And yes, I was Roy in Good Times, Bad Times.
JH: All right, here is what we have. Six cars, that are, well, not overwhelming, but they get the job done. This yellow anachronistic brick is a Mara Asteri by @AndiD , it is mediocre in every way, well, its surely faster and more comfortable than expected, and the reliability is … outstanding, to say the least.
RW: It´s a go except for the ugly rear. Who signed off such a design? Anyway, let´s keep it in for now, I need to decide in the end.
MM: Next one is an Epoch M10 by @machalel . It has two weaknesses. Low safety and low drivability compared to the rest. Other than that, it seems reasonnable. Servicing it is an easy job.
RW: The design is modest but modern, it´s alright. Sadly I am not really a skilled driver so what you said about it bothers me. What´s that silver one, it looks Ariyan?
JH: A Toyhatsu…
RW: Bless you!
MM: Nah, that´s the brand name. A Toyhatsu Tony by @Ludvig .It handles as plump as it looks, only the Epoch is worse in that aspect, but other than that, it´s the perfect economy commuter car. Comfortable, reliable, secure.
RW: This one is an used car?
JH: Hahahha, IP and design is a bit of a sad story lately. The GTX model is also quite uncomfortable, but it handles great. It´s really fun to drive. Reliability is - another typical IP thing - as good as we want to have it. But I agree with you, it looks a bit dated and is propably better off as NPC car.
RW: The blue one next to it seems to be another classic rice bowl. Quite roomy and comfortable, but the styling is equally … boring?
MM: And drivability isn´t great, although much better than the Epoch. What speaks for the Mitsushita Karna by @conan are comfort and… safety. Yes, it has 6 Airbags at no extra cost. Its equal to the Mara but fails to meet the reliability standards of the rival but the service expenses are a brutal nightmare, so… I would recommend the Mara instead.
RW: The last one is cute. An Eroberung UP140 by @azkaalfafa . I own such a car, it´s more capable than it looks. But sadly I was already twice in the workshop for warranty covered repairs.
JH: Yes, not as bad as I thought, BUT THIS IS AN ELEPHANT ROLLER SKATE! For city patrol, I`d let that slide any time, but not on the highway. It is easy to drive and economical, doesnt even flip over in stunt test driving which I had bet it would and the trim level for the price is good, but its rather fragile AND LOOKS LIKE A NEWBORN HIPPO CALF!
The three men all grab a beer and discuss about the vehicles. Mike, the mechanic sees the Mara in front, for stellar reliability and some well-known brand image, adding personality to the still very nebulous role of Lars Krüger. Producer Johannes Hermann instead likes the Toyhatsu. Ralf will have to decide, it is up to him.
Before you start reading, please take time to read the disclaimer. The stories are made for age 16 and older. There is a trigger warning for violence and maybe even disturbing stories, as this is what real cops have to endure. Virtual invented people are dying here - if you feel uncomfortable with it, it´s maybe better to just look at some nice car pictures and avoid the plot. Have fun with CSCS2 and a great start into 2024.
Episode 01: Millennium
Frank is surprisingly promoted to Hauptkommissar, making him the youngest Hetvesian officer to become that grade. He is awaiting the Y2K failure of all electronic systems and feels a bit insecure about the millenium, but Sarah gifts him tickets to the most exclusive new year`s party of Berlau - in the ballroom above the Hetvesian Federal Bank.
Frank and Sarah are at the party when suddenly all electronic systems start to malfunction, no mobile phones and no traffic lights work, causing bad crashes on the roads. The electronic locks of the building are blocked, and Frank and Sarah, who reveal being cops to calm down the panicking guests, use the conveyor system to get out.
Outside is pure chaos. Since traffic lights are all green, tons of accidents happen outside, blocking the roads for almost everyone - including the police, if they were called to an emergency… Holtmann and Kaportke are called into Berlau, assisting the city police as they can´t handle all that mayhem with their own forces alone.
On the way out, Frank and Sarah quickly realize that the bank below the ballroom is about to be looted. While Frank insists on stopping the villains, he asks Sarah to proceed getting out in order to organize help. Even if Sarah does not want to seperate ways, she realizes that it makes sense, because two police officers off duty will not be able to stop a group of supervillains.
Meanwhile, Bernd Schneider, who wanted to get drunk alone at home, managed to get some kind of Radio working, connecting to the safe emergency network of the military. He gets updated on the situation that the main computer central of Berlau is also located in the Federal Bank building and realizes what is happening. Information security expert Lars Krüger is on the line, trying to reestablish emergency backup systems, which will soon be the case, but he needs to get into the bank building for the last steps. Schneider jumps in his Hinode Lucent and picks up Lars Krüger, while the criminals finally made it to the vault and grab what they can get.
Sarah climbed up the elevator shaft until the 39th floor, then put on her winter clothes, as she now had access to the rooftop. The fire ladder seems disfunctional, as the villains have cut it. When trying to get up to the antenna, to give some kind of emergency sign to the people around her, she looses grip on the black ice and falls down, miraculously falling into a giant heap of snow, meters high and protecting her despite the high altitude fall.
Sarah rushes to Franks car in front of the building, which she got the keys for. But when she started the engine, she was noticed by some of the villains checking the area and gets chased by a 1988 Yamaguchi Zen, Her Primus gets rammed and punctured by bullets, but luckily, none of them hit Sarah. In an intense slugfest Sarah wins by the front suspension of the Yamaguchi breaking after a bad curb hit, sliding into some barrels and containers, causing an explosion.
While Sarah fights on the road, Frank made his way to the bank vault - totally empty. All cash and gold reserves of Hetvesia are stolen! But he does not give up and smart as he is, figures out which way the villains took, when he stumbled over a machine gun - left behind since the money was so heavy to carry.
In that moment, a “beep” confirmed that Sarahs phone is working again, and slowly one system after the other comes back to life. Sarah updates Bernd Schneider on the situation, and he tells her to assist Holtmann and Kaportke that are sent to a call reporting a stolen Direlba tank from a millitary supplier. When Holtmann and Kaportke spotted the tank, it already started firing, and both officers escaped in the last second by jumping out of their car.
Frank faces some baddies securing the exit, but he also notices some empty shopping carts, previously used for money carrying. He pushes one foward to distract the gangsters, then rushes in the other direction by jumping into another cart and has gained enough speed to dodge the bullets but being able to kill all opponents with the machinegun. In that moment, Lars Krüger arrives, after he used Bernd Schneiders car to get through to the Berlau city center. He tells Frank that he just needs to get into the server room to perform some reboots, and that the gangsters are most likely using an emergency tunnel system only a few know about. After a successful reboot, Frank and Lars follow the gangsters in a tunnel maze.
Simulatneously Sarah is unter heavy fire by the Direlba tank. All the chaos led to the roads not cleared from snow, and the RWD Primus fails to maintain distance between Sarah and the Tank. After some missed shots, Sarah decides to jump out of the car, but in exactly that moment, it was hit. Sarah becomes ejected and falls into the snow.
After an endless maze, Frank and Lars finally reach the point where the villains left the tunnel system. As the police comes back to force earlier than expected and some of them were already … no longer alive, they argue about sharing the loot, as they went to their previously placed escape vehicles, when the mastermind suddenly shoots the others, and enters in a tank showing up, escorting him into safe terrain with at least fifty million Hetvesische Mark.
Frank looks at the escape cars and picks the IP Surzum as it has a modern AWD system, great to use in snow and ice weather, and takes on the pursuit of the Direlba. After fifteen minutes of chase, they leave to a more rural area, and Frank sees a burning car wreck on the road… and a dented license plate saying B-UL 613. In panic, he jumps over the guardrail and looks for Sarah, which lies seriously injured in the snow, about to pass out. She insists on Frank going after the baddies instead of staying with her, and Lars convinces him that he has a profound medical training and will care as good as possible for Sarah while he should do what he can best - stopping gangsters. Frank, trying to hide tears, runs back to the IP and steps on the gas.
When Frank closed up, he spotted the Direlba tank fighting with another one, an A-81 - It is Bernd Schneider at the cannon who, as an ex-soldier, knows how to operate these, yelling orders at Holtmann and Kaportke how to drive the tank. Since both tanks have equal strength, it´s not really forseeable who will win the duel, and Frank quickly puts the IP into reverse, then opening the trunk to see what he has got. 50 kilos of dynamite, a spare canister, … spare cannister? He uses his tie as fuse, igniting the canister in case of an impact, placed directly next to the dynamite, accellerates as fast as possible, lights his tie, jumps out of the car at 100 kph and lets the Surzum crash into the Direlba. The brute force of the impact knocked out the occupants, and both the gangsters and the money were secured.
The episode ends with Sarahs coma ending after two weeks, and a worried Bernd Schneider talking to her.
"Listen, you do not need to prove that you are tougher than men in this job. You don´t need to become a stuntgirl. You are more courageous than many people I met in the military. Honey, you just can´t stop a tank. What were you up to? Shooting it a flat tire? Please look more after yourself in such situations. Frank was only lucky to have the right tools to stop the tank that was already busy with me, so you can´t compare the situations.

Quite the plotline, and some very nice graphics, even if some of the AI-generated scenes are a bit goofy. The use of the cars inspires ideas for my ongoing FC1 writeup too. That last paragraph, though - it’s realistic, I suppose, but that doesn’t change that it’s condescending sexist crap. “Honey”? Would he talk to a male officer that way?
That was 24 years ago. Back then, nobody cared about how elder men spoke to younger women. Schneider was born in 1945, which means he grew up in times when women were seen as dishwasher, so fully accepting a woman in this job might be rather progressive. I pay very much attention to have characters fitting into the time and setting as I experienced first hand. Being politically incorrect in 2023/2024 is a thing I am willing to risk, therefore I wrote a disclaimer.
“Sexist crap” was still present in TV shows in the early 00s it feels like. Watching some stuff today, even though not feeling all that old, you realize that it did not age well.
Sounds like a southern grandma to me.
Episode 02: Girls don´t wanna have crime
Before you start reading, please take time to read the disclaimer. The stories are made for age 16 and older. There is a trigger warning for violence and maybe even disturbing stories, as this is what real cops have to endure. This is told after a true story in 1990s Brandenburg county, Germany, but exagerrated for TV. If you feel uncomfortable with it, it´s maybe better to just look at some nice car pictures and avoid the plot.
Getting caught mastermind criminals and the state reserves of Hetvesia, Bernd Schneider and his team got quite a prestige boost - with a fundraise for the Autobahnwache 12. Schneider loudly listens to “Non, je ne regrette rien” in his new patrol car at full volume, when Frank and Sarah appeared. An embarrassed Schneider turns off the radio and waits until the two are out of sight… Inside Sarah grabs the fax with newest informations: A return of the cold winter weather in late February with a warning for more accidents on the highway and, that was more interessing, Jenny Siemank, 16 years old, was reported missing from a closed girls dorm. She immediately reports to Frank, who agrees after some resistance to get on the A2, since the fax told that she might tramp on the highway to Berlau. Her criminal record included car theft and driving without license as well as shoplifting, so Frank does not feel like protecting her, but Sarah, who had a very difficult youth with a dead father and a struggling alcoholic mother, feels very protective and pushes Frank to keep the search going.
At the same time, a teenage girl enters a run-down building in Berlaus suburbs, clearly having experienced violence in the past days. She is greeted by an adult man, telling her that it´s about time she moves in, as the dishes are already waiting…
The next day, the patrol begins at the dorm and heads back towards Berlau. Suddenly, cars swerve and crash into each other on the slippery surface, causing a huge pileup in front of Frank and Sarah, who manage to stop in time, but a speeding Cavaliere Nobile Freccia has trouble stopping and misses Franks Fowler only by centimeters.
The cause of the accident is tragic: A girl fell off the bridge, most likely in a suicide attempt, and died in the crash. Sarah has to throw up and is visibly shocked. Even Frank is seen rather devastated in his Fowler, informing the others over radio. Sarah, who read the fax over and over, tells him that this is NOT Jenny Siemank, who has pink instead of blonde hair and is a bit more chubby, so both agree to drive back to the police station and search for other missing girls.
Sarah becomes emotional and orders for a medical examination and has to throw up again, although Frank is convinced that it was suicide, so he secretly overrides the descision of his wife and just wants to know the identity of the poor girl.
A day later, Frank, who is still feeling sick about the death of the young girl, is told by the ME that the dead girl is Samantha Glaser, which lived in the same dorm as Jenny Siemank. Franks eyes glow up and he reverts his descision not to perform an autopsy, as this might not be suicide, but the ME tells Frank that it is too late. A furious Frank, angry on himself, kicks a trashcan outside the hospital and calls Sarah, telling her that the body was too severely injured to find any traces of crime.
Arriving at the dorm, they split up for interrogations. Sarah asks the boss, Sabine Meinhardt, and the elder lady that seems to care a lot and offers kind help. Frank on the other hand notices that the other teenagers don´t dare to talk to him and seem frightened.
“Miss Meinhardt, Samantha is reported missing for two days. We still have no notice about it. Jenny is missing for four days and you reported it two days ago. Why?”
“Involving the police would lead to more trouble for these poor girls that already have some criminal record. I want to give them the chance to regret their descision to escape, and get back without further punishments.”
When they returned to Franks car, both agree that something is indeed wrong and that Sabine Meinhard didn´t tell the truth. Frank spots an impressive 1992 DCMW in the yard, and takes a look in it, seeing nothing suspicious, but noticing a later fitted Bluecube Magellan 2000 navigation system. Sarah opens the pneumatic central lock system by cutting a tennis ball which Frank had in his trunk and caused negative pressure to open the car, then takes the memory card. Frank seems severely irritated that his wife knows such things and performs them like a professional.
Frank scruitnizes the revenue reports of the dorm - they are good enough for maintaining the essential, but do not justify such a high-rolling car for Miss Meinhardt. He decides not to tell Sarah until he has any valid proof of irregularities to make her not upset even more.
The next morning, Jenny escapes from her abusive “boyfriend” she now regrets dating. Realizing that she can not trust anybody, she accepts her fate and wants to take the train back to the dorm in Waldsleben, but just after entering a ticket control takes place, and since she has neither money nor a ticket, she uses the emergency door opener and jumps off the train, landing in soft snow. She then sits down on the rails waiting for the next train to run her over, finally giving up, but then decides otherwise in the last second.
The police has been informed by the train company employee via mobilephone, and Holtmann and Kaportke who also got Jennys description spot her straying over a parking lot nearby the location she jumped out, then stealing a Yamazaki Premio. Just when she left the parking lot and wanted to speed off, Franks Fowler drifts around the corner, starting a chase.
Frank, who has not used his new car in an extreme driving situation before struggles to keep pace with the fast Ariyan sedan, but manages to glue on the rear bumper of Jenny. An intense chase through Berlau proceeds.
Argh, fuck that shit, I bet she used that Yamazaki like a 1000 times on the console in GranTouring 2 before! Sarah, get us some backup before I loose this Mugshot or how that Gasmean thing is called!
Wanting to activate the additional siren since they were entering a pedestrian zone, Frank turns on the radio with his techno CD blazing at full volume, distracting himself and causing him to spin out.
“Damn, thats where it used to be on a Primus and Swanson, where is it in this Foul Mugshot”?
“Darling, this is a Fowler Buckshot, and I don´t know what`s your problem, That´s some drilling emergency siren, too, so it´s fine. How about finally listening to my favourite Hip-Hop music instead of this alarm sound?”
“Sarah, not now. NOT NOW! TURN THIS OFF NOW!”
Instead of turning down the volume, Sarah plugged in her Discman into the AUX and now Frank has to close up to the Yamazaki while being in a Hip-Hop Disco…
On a bridge Frank sees his chance and rams the Yamazaki, which, after contact, was catapulted above the railing, falling into the river. Frank realizes that he has to act quick, rushes down the stairs with the car and comes to standstill just in time to jump into the water and grab Jenny. He pulls her out of the river, handcuffs her, and speeds in agony back to the department, with a smiling Sarah bouncing to her favourite music and passing Jenny back one of her chewing gums.
Back at the department, Jenny remains silent and does not speak a word with Frank, so he gives up to do the paperwork and calls in his wife, as Jenny seemed to feel much more comfortable with a woman. Sarah gently comforts her, but besides an intense hug, Jenny still does not want to talk that much except firmly holding Sarahs hand, who speaks up to Bernd Schneider taking Jenny with her. Schneider refuses handing out a girl on the wanted list until the judge allows it, and promises to have a descision within the next 24 hours.
Bernd Schneider set everything into movement to allow Sarah what she asked for, and the next morning he happily informs Frank that his wife should take Jenny with her to get her some fresh clothes and proper breakfast. At the same time, Lars Krüger arrives at the department, called in by Frank to analyze the data from the navigation system memory card.
Lars soon gets what Frank wanted, and the DCMW was often at the Nokturngasse, an infamous area for teenage prostitution. Frank´s face turns white, and he calls Sarah who carefully confronts Jenny with their apprehension that most of the money was made with prostitution of the girls. Jenny, falling on the ground in tears, confirms everything and begs not sending her back to the dorm. Frank grabs his jacket and runs outside, seeing his Fowler towed towards the service garage as it was a bit dented in the recent chase. He begs for Bernd Schneider´s keys, who is busy in the bathroom shaving himself, but the boss insists on arresting the evil lady on his own. He speeds off in agony and is determined to arrest Meinhardt.
In that exact moment Sabine Meinhardts chauffeur reports the memory card missing, which would be some proof against them. Meinhardt orders an immediate escape, and just when Bernd Schneider crossed the gate in his Swanson patrol car, the DCMW headed towards the exit. Schneider makes a sharp U-Turn and goes on the hunt for the evil granny. After an intense chase, Schneider finally managed to ram the DCMW off the road, causing it to explode in a fireball. An exhausted Bernd Schneider spits on the burning wreck and regrets not leaving her alive, sparing her the embarassing trial.
The next day, Sarah holds a positive pregnancy test in her hands. She wants to secretly abort, since neither does she feel like being ready for the responsibility, nor does she want to interrupt her carreer that finally had her promoted to team up with Frank in the Nr. 1 squad of the highway patrol. but Petra Liehr, the profiler helping the team from time to time, who is there to assist Jenny as therapist, watches the scene on the ladies WC and persuades her to speak to someone first.
Guided by Petra Liehr, she goes to Bernd Schneider who tells her that he would indeed ask for a replacement and that he has someone in mind, but guarantees her to give her the old job back anytime later. After a dinner with Frank and his parents Albert and Helga, Sarah decides to keep the child, but also forces Frank to accept Jenny living with them until she gets adopted.

Episode 03: False Friends
Four weeks have passed since Sarah´s positive test and after her first doctors appointment in order to look for the baby, Sarah, taking the Batimus family car, a new Rigel Colombino wagon, spots a burning old station wagon and saves a young woman, Vera, that obviously lived in it. She escaped her violent husband and lives from such a low wage that she can not afford a place to live.
What has her boss, Hartmut Berger, to do with that? He acts quite strange. Frank, urging his wife to go on pregnancy leave, orders Sarah to do paperwork and asks Berger himself, a very unpleasant individual. But he answers to not have seen anything suspicious, and Frank has no proof to investigate further against him.
Meanwhile, Sarah invites Vera to stay for a few weeks with her, Frank and Jenny, which makes Jenny, who still has nobody willing to adopt her, jealous and causes some trouble, but Sarah explains Jenny that Vera has nowhere to go and is in a helpless situation just as her.
Meanwhile, Frank discusses with Bernd Schneider, urging him to finally order Sarah to go on pregnancy leave, as he has a new partner now: Schneider offered Lars Krüger the job as inspector, which he accepted and now became Frank and Sarahs colleague.
Mr. Batimus, I absolutely share your opinion, but your wife is an adult and force won´t help. Take that as a valid answer from a divorced man with not much contact to his children. And even if I command her doing desk work, she will find a way to sneak out on dangerous duty. You married her, you know her long enough to foresee this. Nevertheless, I will see what I can do.
In the evening, Frank wants to go home, but they get an urgent call: At a car tuning garage someone seems to break in. Holtmann and Kaportke speed with two patrol cars as first response, as they are near the area, and Lars takes his new car, a Toyhatsu. The delinquent steals a blue Cavaliere Nobile Testosterone, as the sirens approach. Kaportke uses the handbrake to slide his Etoile sideways, but as this was a spiral ramp. Holtmann in the Mara behind couldn´t see this and also did not expect it, ramming into the car of his colleague. Even if this maneuver was not efficient, it was effective, since the thief now has to take another route, heading towards the city and not the highway, driving directly in the direction of Lars and Frank.
As it is wet, the thief has trouble driving the unruly Frunian machine, while Lars in the tuned Toyhatsu has all modern driving aids available, but he is an inexperienced driver and almost messes up in every corner. Frank urges his new Partner to make less harsh steering movements and be more careful with the pedals, which works out, as they are able to keep up with the much more powerful sports car that is unable to get proper grip. The cops realize that they won´t have much time left until the Cavaliere reaches the causeway, where they do not have any chance against the exclusive machine. Lars goes full risk but his inexperience and hectic caused the ESC and TCS to loose it, spinning the Toyhatsu into a building site.
Before the two could climb out of the wreck, Bernd Schneider and an additional support team arrive at the scene.
AAAH, you seem to be fine. At least that. I wish I could say this for this car? You needed… (looks at his watch) ONE DAY, NINE HOURS AND 26 MINUTES to destroy your new car. Guess what, Krüger? The only guy to beat this was Harald Walkowski, and that man is out of any, ANY competition! If you throw away your vehicle like a tin can, MAKE THE FUCK SURE THAT YOU AT LEAST GET THE DELINQUENT. DEAD OR ALIVE! I don´t want to see you for a while… BOTH OF YOU!
When a frustrated Batimus noticed that his apartment became more or less a shelter, he speeds away to his parents in agony.
What is this supposed to be? A hotel? Thanks for asking me!
They need our help, Frank! And you would have said no. So why should I ask you then?
Yeah, sure, how about getting a horse, too? That is still missing at the moment to make this cathouse perfect!
You know I always wanted a dog, which you did not allow, but when our guests have a place to be, I will get one. Just that you know it!
Well, then get rid of me, then you can get what ever zoo you want. I am out here, deal with the shit you do for yourself! (slams door)
Just at the moment Frank leaves, Sarah cries, when Jenny realized that it was selfish of her to be jealous of Vera, and comforts her temporary step-mother that Frank will soon cool down.
The next day, Sarah, who slept really bad and is still very insecure after yesterday´s argument, refuses to be stuck with paperwork and observes Berger. She wants justice for Vera, and last night she was told what a disgusting character Berger is. When Sarah sees Bergers car, a dark blue Tigresse, stolen as well, she goes into pursuit with her red Fischer Flavourous.
But the thief is a skilled driver - after a slippery corner, he aimed at a light green Primus, and spun it in the way of Sarah whose Fischer understeered on the slippery ground, crashed into the Primus and then got catapulted into a parked Rigel. Although Sarah is fine, the Fischer is not only dented but also lost all its coolant. Thankfully, the following traffic that stopped includes a brand new Viverna Serigala, one of Sarahs most loved car models, so she immediately uses the chance, pulls the driver out by showing her badge, and speeds off in the fast machine to get the fugitive.
With the sporty Frunian sedan, Sarah quickly closes up to the Tigresse, following it to a rather hidden service garage. She is determined to follow the man, and enters the building, not realizing that there is another man inside, who sneaks towards her from behind and attacks her with an iron rod. Sarah, who doesnt fight and only protects her torso in order to keep the child away from harm, quickly falls to the ground, unconscious.
While the getaway driver yells at the other man for unneccecary violence, Frank and Lars, who heard of Sarahs chase over the police radio, rescue her and the thief last minute, who was about to be shot by the other man. Frank attacks the other guy with a wrench for beating up Sarah, but Lars somehow manages to hold him back. Instead, Lars interrogates the two detained criminals and puts together the story: The car mechanic Michael Ertel went bankrupt after a cancer diagnosis and debt at a “wonder-healer” and was forced to steal cars for his former rival Igor Reifschneider - whose cousin played the wonderhealer to lure Michael into the debt trap.
An arriving ambulance manages to wake up Sarah and tells her that the baby is fine, but she is still shocked by the danger the unborn was in. After duty, Frank and Sarah talk with each other at the sunset in Berlaus city center, and Sarah admits that Frank was right about avoiding dangerous duties and paying more attention to the child, but that he was overreacting about Vera and Jenny needing help. Frank agrees that he has lost his temper and that he is grateful that Sarah now thinks about preferring desk work over stunt performances.
Bergers car was handed back to him, but not before examinating it by the forensics. After two days, the results are there: They finally found proof in the trunk that he is the arson. Veras accusations were all justified: Berger urged his homeless employee to move in with him in a quite unpleasant way, and to force her to obey, he took her the only left safe space by burning down the car. Bernd Schneider is disgusted and hires Vera as housekeeper, offering her the guest apartment in his house since he feels lonely in the large building after his family moved out. Frank and Lars chase Berger, who sped off when he spotted the Fowler with a blue beacon on the roof coming for him, and an intense chase that led into the parking garage of Berlaus main shopping mall damaged both cars. Berger tries a deceptive maneuver, as the whole building becomes more and more surrounded with cops: When Franks Fowler stalled, he jumped out of his not much less crippled Tigresse, letting it crash through the guardrail and fall down, while he tried to hide among the mass of people.
Frank and Lars have thought of that, and Lars spots Berger and runs after him, while Frank takes a daring abbreviation, jumping from above onto the awning of a fruit stand, rolling down and pulling his gun in front of Berger, who gives up without further resistance.
In the evening, Frank gets a desperate call from Sarah, informing him that Jenny did not come home after school. When Sarah accused him of being the reason, he wanted to protest, but then realized that he indeed never gave her the feeling of being accepted, so he promises Sarah to fix this. After some searching, Frank spots her getting drunk on a bench. Instead of yelling, he calmly sits down next to her.
Now listen to me. I am not your father, but I will try to fit in the positive role of that figure, but you need to give me some time. You are old enough to make your own descisions in most cases, but drinking is one that I can´t let slide. But this time it´s on me for being an asshole, so feel free to join me without consequences. If I was the one that makes you angry, please don´t hurt my wife that cries her eyes out at home as she is worried about you. How about a drive to the video libarary and we`re renting something you like. A King Ronalds is surely on our way, huh? You must be hungry after all that alcohol."

Episode 04: A Question of Trust
Trigger warning: Death, violence
The episode starts with Frank being focussed on some kind of internet platform, but then being called by Lars for a traffic accident.
Sarah is doing boring patrol duty, as she became more careful with the baby in mind. When a speeding white van passed her recklessly, she first hesitated, but then finally enters the pursuit.
The chase goes on for a few minutes, as a young guy in a yellow Cavaliere Nobile Vertice feels challenged to stop the speeding van, but becomes passed. In that moment a driving school car is on the way.
All right, Caroline, let´s practice merging. This is perfect. An unfinished construction site, narrow space, few visibility. If you get this right, you can be proud of yourself!
But when she heard the siren approaching and saw a chase, the student driver panicked, lifted off the clutch, the car jumped onto the causeway and stalled. The instructor desperately tries to get the engine back on, but it is too late: The driver of a blue Ilaris locks up the brakes, skids, causing the yellow Cavaliere to spin in its evasive maneuver, leading to a chaos on the intersection. Sarah mangages to stop the car in the very last second, but the others crash. The white van has the worst fate, smashing into a tree and caughing fire. Although Sarah and the driving instructors have their extinguishers ready, it is too late for the occupants. But the load could be saved.
The van with Archanean registration carried tons of passports, propably intended for human trafficking. Sarah passed the information to Bernd Schneider, but before he arrives another old man shows up, pushing Holtmann and Kaportke aside and stomping towards Sarah.
I AM HAUPTKOMMISSAR INGMAR RICHTER! WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MESS?
The van driver, obviously. But I guess you ask for the inspector on duty here. Well, here I am. What´s up?
Yeah, and I am Santa Clause. Your badge, lady, NOW!
He investigates the badge and ID card and shakes his head in disgust.
You absolutely don´t look like an inspector. Sarah Batimus, Autobahnwache 12, ah, so you are in Schneiders district? I know him, I am surprised he lets his officers do their patrol service in jogging trousers.
How do you like your inspectors looking? Let me guess: Like ugly boring jerks?
DONT MESS WITH ME! You are out of this case. Collect your uniformed clowns and clear my field of view. My organized crime unit is assigned to this case. Go on regulating traffic and let professionals do the work here! Where is the van?
Just before you showed up, I had it towed away for investigation. I guess you need to drive faster, grandpa. I will send you a copy of the file then, byeeeee!
Back in the office, Schneider informs Sarah that Richter has already filed an official complaint against her, and that he knows him from military times. He will make sure that the complaint ends up in the bin, but orders her to stay formal, even when the other part is insulting her.
This is how it works. A man is always more powerful, and if he has a higher rank and is older, you are screwed no matter what you do. I don´t feel too well about it. As your colleague and maybe friend I can tell you that you didn´t to anything wrong, but as your boss I have to tell you what I just said. But there will be the day when this changes. Until then, either adapt or leave.
A frustrated Sarah then hastily turns on her PC and visits the same website as Frank, quickly hammering something into the keyboard.
On the way back home, Frank picks Sarah up with his Fowler. On the highway, Frank starts a discussion he soon regrets.
I already stopped at the laboratory on the way back to the department. The van had fingerprints of Klaus Kasupke [look up season 3 for that] in it. So, I knew you broke up with him for me, but you never told me why and how it went on with Klaus.
And that is still none of your business, Frank.
Klaus was my rival and your ex, yes, but now he might be in trouble. If he is, we need to help him, and I need all information you have. It´s serious!
Well, Frank, he treated me really good, really loved me, but… you know, I want to be loved but don´t come too close to me. Now that I think about it, he maybe loved me too much. Flowers, dinner dates, wellness weekends, all that stressed me.
So you broke up with him because it was … .too perfect?
Exactly. AND DON´T JUDGE ME, FRANK! I see it in your face what you are about to say! However, that broke him and he volunteered for some undercover suicide missions. I have not heard of him since.
Maybe he is caught by the Archanean Mafia and in danger! We need to call Schneider. And yes, that means exposing your mentaly ill private life to the boss, but I dont care. Don´t let Klaus down, Sarah.
After the next morning briefing, Schneider tells the trio that Hauptkommissar Klaus Kasupke is indeed undercover among Archanean mafiosi in Berlau with the identity of Frieder Schön, with Ingmar Richter as his supervisor. After three successful operations, Kasupke now has the carte blance and can kill at own descision, without having to face consequences.
Everything went well until two months ago, when the contact ended. Richter is afraid that Klaus had switched sides, and is therefore under high pressure.
As far as I know, Kasupke does not know my face. How about me offering what he lost: Passports. Captain Schneider, I guess you have good relations and can organize blanco ones until tomorrow? I will go undercover, too, and check if he has gone corrupt.
Mr. Krüger, with all due respect, I will not let a greenhorn put his life in danger like that. I will inform internal affairs then.
Lars is right! I will follow him in a second car and watch the meeting. I guarantee for his safety, Captain.
Ah, Frank, now that you speak of a car, I guess the best for me to use something prestigious and… credible for a businessman. Like a Hinode Lucent that you have in your garage…
NO, KRÜGER, NO WAY! NOT MY HINODE!
The next day, Lars parks the Hinode in an abandoned factory. Klaus Kasupke is already there with his Saberin Atarin. Lars shows him samples of the passports, and Kasupke nods.
Deal! I need 5000 until tomorrow. Here are 50 percent of the cash, as sign of my trust. If you disappoint me, it is the last thing you ever do, Mr. Thiele.
Mr. Schön, it is a pleasure to do business with you. We meet up tomorrow at the warehouse I told you about. 10 AM.
The next day, a Taxi stops in the alley, with a blue Eroberung sport coupe parking at the entrance - his business partner Lars Thiele is already waiting in it.
Everything goes well, Lars loads the passports on the rear seats, then puts the money in the trunk, but then a police car rushed into the building, and Lars immeadiately opens fire, blowing up the cop car without hesitation. Outside waits Holtmann with another patrol car, but again Lars fires on it, with the officer going down. As both shooting and driving was too much in combination for Lars, he damages his car, but manages to proceed escaping until he let Kasupke out in a back alley, where his Saberin was parked. He takes the box with the passports and rushes off.
Lars calls Schneider that he now has Kasupkes trust and that he is afraid that the Hauptkommissar indeed became corrupt. Schneider answers that he will proceed the information to all neccecary authorities and plan an arrest.
At the same time, Kasupke alias Frieder Schön instructs his personnel to go and get Lars, as he noticed a microphone below the passenger seat when bowing down to tie his shoe. He is now well aware about the setup and pseudo-killing in the getaway and wants to see Lars dead.
In the evening, a black Mara with police light stops Lars, who complies as he noticed himself in that moment that he forgot to turn on the lights. But the “officers” knock Lars out and throw him into the generous trunk of the Kavaler. It took not less than three hours for someone to report the abandoned car, and when Schneider arrives at the crime scene, he knows that Lars´life is in danger, yelling Ingmar Richter on his answering machine that he should tell him the location of Kasupke now, as he still uses his undercover Saberin which is fitted with GPS.
The next morning, Frank is focussed on his PC, as Kaportke told him to get on the phone.
FRAAAANK! Its Schneider, he has news. MOVE!
SHIT, I CANT GET AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER NOW. Aaaargh, I hope it doesn´t take long.
Yes, captain? Oh, you got the GPS data from Kasupkes car? Eh, yes, I am on the way.
Batimus races towards the location, always updated via police radio, blocks the way and pulls Kasupke out.
KLAUS! WHERE IS LARS? WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?
What Klaus? I am Frieder Schön! And now back off or you will regret!
An intense fistfight begins, with Frank attacking first, as he lost temper. But Klaus Kasupkes special undercover training also included martial arts, and Frank has no chance against the rival, goes K.O and falls to the ground. But his last hit had quite an impact on Kasupke, who feels dizzy and needs to sit down, as his mind slowly becomes blurred… he finally remembers the guy he just knocked out… the name Klaus… a flashback shows that he was doing business with the Archanean mafia boss Iwan Strelsky, as a bomb exploded, killing his boss and knocking him out… and then he had amnesia which was now reverted due to the huge shock by Franks hit.
Kasupke realizes that he became the mafia boss himself after the memory loss, and that Lars is locked up in a building that will explode in less than twenty minutes. He runs to Franks car, and uses the radio to get help.
Meanwhile, Jenny sits in the computer room of her school, as the cellphone rings.
Jenny, good that you answer, that means you have not lost my phone. So, my love, did you get it?
Yes, sure. I just had to sneak in here, connect the internet cable from the teacher´s PC to mine without him noticing, that was easy. Thanks for allowing me to skip math for that!
Suddenly, a message from Sarahs car interrupts the call.
OFFICER DOWN ON THE A-10 NEAR EXIT MEINDORF. REPEAT OFFICER DOWN…
Oooh shit, an emergency close to my location, I have to hang up, thanks again, sweetie!
After sending the distress call, Kasupke jumps into his Saberin and races to the location where Lars is locked up, crashes through the gate and speeds all the way to the backroom, cuts Lars loose and helps him up to get into the car.
Why… are you now helping me?
A story too long to explain! Aaaaarrghhh only one minute left, HURRY UP OR WE WILL BOTH BE DEAD!
The grey sedan races back through the tunnel maze, but it is too late: Behind them the explosion started, with a firewall coming closer and closer while the roof above them starts to fall apart.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!
THERE IS THE EXIT! WE WILL… AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Eh, Kasupke… are we… dead?
I don´t think that headache exists in paradise. So I assume, no, we are not… let´s get out of here.
Frank has been found by Sarah, after being gently woken up, Frank panicks that Lars is still in danger, but soon after, a radio call informs them that Lars is safe and that Kasupke handed himself over to the authorities.
The next day, an excited Sarah throws some keys to Frank, dragging him outside.
Sooo, here it is, a 1979 Primus GTS… but not any GTS… this is your first car! It´s a gift for you as we are now a whole year a couple, after all these years we spent together at work! I saw it on eBuy and just had to get it for you!
Hey, how the fuck did you get it, I was almost winning the auction, but some bitch always … eh… are you cutestuntgirly666?
Fra-ank? Don´t tell me you are v12_master! DON´T!!! YOU COST ME THOUSANDS! FRANK!!
The episode ends with Bernd Schneider uncontrollably laughing about the scene, dropping his coffee and … to everyone´s surprise squeaking like a guinea pig in his uncontrolled laughter, which makes everyone else freaking out with laughter, too…

Episode 05: Hot Wheels
Trigger warnings: Death, trauma
The episode starts with a shady person sneaking among HTM racecars at night.
The next scene tells the spectators that Frank and Sarah are visiting the AWRS racetrack in Berlau (Automobil-Wettbewerbs-und-Renn-Strecke) as he was called by his childhood friend Manuel Stellmacher, Touring Car Champion of 1999 and currently leading the HTM (Hetvesische Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft). The famous hetvesian race driver is blackmailed - either he loses the championship, or he will be killed. Although nothing happened yet, Manuel asked Frank to be present to look for the safety of his friend he somehow lost contact with. Sarah on the other hand, is fascinated by the race cars and the whole circus.
What´s the matter with these grid girls? That´s degrading.
You forget that most spectators are men, and most men are… well, monkeys.
Yes, and you prove that, Frank. MY EYES ARE HERE! HEEEE-RE!
Naaaah, you get me wrong! I need to check the environment, any person can be the blackmailer. Grid girls too, right?
Meanwhile, Lars eats a ton of the famous Berlauer Currywurst at the Kaiserstraße railway station. Just when he was about to enter his vehicle to resume patrol, a red station wagon recklessly speeds past him. Lars does not need to be asked twice.
He soon notices that the car speeding is the private car of Frank and Sarah, but does not openly tell this as this might be a bit embarrassing for cops having their car stolen.
Unit 3 to Base, in pursuit of a red station wagon. No assistance required yet, heading towards A-10.
However, Lars is not concerned about not succeeding to stop the Rigel Colombino.
Haaahhha, Frank, I might have a rollerskate right now, but I got the good rollerskate. However, you cheap guy ordered the sport trim with the base engine. I will get you the car back, haha. That will be fun to watch his face!
But the fugitive in the Rigel drives like a maniac, not really giving Lars a chance to overtake. A dangerous maneuver worked for the red wagon, but seems to fail for Lars.
Unit 3 to Base, might need support nooooooow… AAAAARRRGH
The driver of the Rigel sees the small Eroberung being catapulted into the air, uses the handbrake to make a 180-degree turn and speed to the rescue of Lars, as the car is alrady smoking and fuel is leaking.
The driver of the Rigel panicks and seems not to be able to open the belt lock, but in that moment Lars already crawls out of the burning car, jumping onto the hood of the Colombino and making panicking signs to reverse as fast as possible, which happens in the very last second.
What, Jenny, you? What the… eh, calm down first, stop shivering, it´s all fine, I am alive, and that car wasn´t to my taste anyway. Crap, sirens, that´s Holtmann and Kaportke. Hide in the back, NOW, FAST! AND REMAIN SILENT, FUCK!
Hey Lars, damn, what happened here?
Lost the suspect. And my car.
Is that the red wagon you chased? Is that Franks?
Noooo, noooo… Frank and Sarah are… well, they went into the forest, you know, they were behind me by coincidence and assisted me but after that long chase… they need to get rid of their moring coffee… Go on on the highway and look for a red, eeeh… I think it was a Primus. I`ll call the firefighters and manage this disaster here.
Meanwhile the training on the racetrack started. Manuel Stellmacher is the fastest, as suddenly his car starts to burn with an explosion. He loses control, his Arlington slides into a Viverna of Mario Fungomaglione, then gets catapulted up in the air, landing on the roof, but many other drivers stop and drag Stellmacher out.
Meanwhile, Lars and Jenny sit in the Rigel and head back towards central Berlau.
Please sit properly. That´s not cool.
The police station is the other way, where are we going? I am not arrested?
Stopping and coming back was brave, and propably saved my life. I won´t arrest you and this remains our secret, unter one condition: Why the hell did you steal the car? Are you dumb? You are on probation. For exact the same shit.
I just wanted to… escape somewhere. Yesterday, I called Sarah “mom” by accident, and for her it was somehow fine or she did not bother, but Frank then stood up and said “There has to be a solution before the baby arrives, we have only one child”. Sarah looked at me, then at him, but he said, that with the birth of the baby, I need to go. Lars, I do not want to be replaced. I have absolutely nobody and just when I thought I finally have a place where I belong…
Ouch, Frank can be a donkey at times, but that´s a new highscore for sure… hey, don´t cry, everything will be fine, really. Don´t worry.
I am an orphan, nobody wants to have me, my only real friend from the dorm was pushed off the bridge… or jumped… the longer I think about it, the more likely… she decided for it… and I still feel dirty and guilty for all these men that…
Heeee, stop! That is not your fault! You have every right to feel shit and be weird, I mean, look at Sarah, how much screws she has loose, but DON´T STEAL A CAR! Especially not Franks and Sarahs. Sarah might love you unconditionally since you remind her very much of herself, but Frank wouldnt forgive that. By the way, you might be a victim of violence, prostitution and abuse, but in my eyes, you are not just a victim. I wish I was as strong as you are, really.
So, since you got your school bag in the trunk I will drive you exactly to where you belong.
What´s the use? I suck at everything, and I can´t really focus on it.
As I said, you have every justification to have struggles, but not for stealing cars, but I don´t want to repeat myself. Sarah told me that you see her as role model? Please not for the mental state, haha, but yes, if you want to become a part of the highway patrol, you need to go through there. And even if you don´t get a high degree, our lower rank people might be the victim of our jokes, but people like Holtmann and Kaportke are the backbone of the department, and they make the whole force work despite having sucked at school. You should worry about your register instead. One thing more, and the police carrer is over before it even started. So, here we are, I`ll guide you to the classroom, since I want to be sure that you are actually attending the classes.
Just in that moment, Lars phone rings, it`s Frank requiring assistance, as an attack against Manuel Stellmacher took place. Frustration increases, as Lars notices that after bringing the Rigel back were it belongs, he has to buy a bus ticket…
While Sarah watches videotapes, as long standing and walking is increasingly difficult with the pregnancy, Frank and Lars ask Stellmacher for a list of suspects. But neither the established Bert Schreiner on Zephorus, Ludwig Klauß on Nordwagen or the rookie Jan Loeper on Shima were missing for a sufficient amout of time that day. The trio sets all hope into the investigation of the wreck, which was towed to the lab.
Later in the evening, Manuel Stellmacher is in his hotel room, as his phone suddenly rings. A synthetic voice tells him that the caller is a journalist and spotted by accident the saboteur, and wants to meet up at the racetrack, but without police, as his methods of getting information are illegal. Stellmacher, who is desperately wanting to know what is up, sneaks out of his hotel room, but Frank, who is also staying at the hotel overnight just in case, sees the glass elevator with Stellmacher going down to the parking garage. Stellmacher takes his Primus Ares and speeds off in front of Frank, who ran down the stairs to catch up.
Just as the Ares Turbo takes the ramp up, Frank spots a weird construction with a red light below the fuel tank. A bomb with a loose contact! Frank jumps into his Fowler, crashes through the Barrier as he has his parking ticket still in the room, and closes up on the Ares, calling Stellmacher to leave the car as soon as possible.
Stellmacher does as ordered, and just when Frank arrived, the Primus blows up in a fireball, with the shockwave catapulting Stellmacher up in the air, so Frank positions the Fowler in a way that his friend can land on it, as the hood is softer than the asphalt…
The next morning, Frank dresses up as race driver - he and Stellmacher will swap the roles, as Frank claims that as a professional policeman, he can take the risk of a sabotaged car, while Manuel hides in Franks hotel room as long as Frank is out on the track - with the helmet on, a difference is difficult to spot. As they arrange the setup, Sarah calls Frank from the lab, a package of garlic pills was found in the Arlington. Stellmacher says that he doesnt take that, and only one team member uses it against high blood pressure: Ömer Sönmenz, one of his mechanics, who also has the skills to sabotage a car.
Sarah picks up Lars and drives to Sönmez´apartment. Lars tells Sarah to stay in the car since she is pregnant and should avoid any risk. As ringing leads to no response, he kicks in the door just to find Sönmez dead, turning around his seat and hereby activating a bomb. Lars jumps out of the window without wasting any thought on the consequences of jumping from 7th floor, but at least gained a few seconds of lifetime, but Sarah immediately realizes and rams the Zephorus truck in front of her foward to use it´s load as landing space for Lars.
LARS! LAAAARRRS! ARE YOU ALIVE?
Ouch! More or less. Damn, that was a lucky coincidence! It would have been perfect if pillows were in the boxes.
Eh, what´s in it then?
Plants.
Hey, but they are also soft, and it worked. You are almost unharmed.
In general yes, but that is all not any plant but tons of FUCKING CACTUS! AAAARGH. HELP ME!
Sarah informs Frank one hour prior to the race that Sönmez is dead, and that they think that he was either the assistant to the saboteur or a victim himself, meaning that the baddie is still out there at the track. Suddenly, when walking past the box of the Shima team, Frank smells a garlic stench. It is Jans overambituous father - Ernst Loeper flees from Frank, as soon as he realizes that he has a clue, by taking his sons race car. Frank pulls the Driver Meyer out of his Tarske and enters a chase, both duel intensely on the racetrack.
Ernst Loeper leaves the track, attempting an escape with the fast race car. But Bernd Schneider and his uniformed officers blocked every way out, as they were on standby the whole sunday. Loeper realizes that he has no chance and that it is over, lifts the hands off the steering wheel and speeds into an excavator, leading to an explosion of his car.
Schneider, Udo, Uwe and Frank look bitter towards the burning wreck, as Lars showes up, speaking up to Frank.
A coward, hm? Overambitious with the kid, not knowing where the limit is…
True, Lars… do you want to compete with Petra Liehr or how comes your psychologic interest?
Partner, we need to talk. From man to man. Follow me.
A few days later, Frank and Sarah sign a paper. While Frank still needs to force himself a bit to smile, Sarah seems absolutely enthusiastic.
Just after the signature, Sarah drives Frank towards a hotel, where both greet Manuel Stellmacher, who tells Frank that the surprise is ready. All three hug each other, Sarah drives away, and Stellmacher takes the elevator back up.
When Jenny´s school day ends, Frank already waits outside. Jenny panicks that Frank may have found out about the car theft, but Frank greets her with a smile and hands her a copy of the adoption papers. Jenny almost explodes from happiness and relief, and Frank realizes that he has done the only right thing in that situation.
But that´s not all! See this? A brand new Cavaliere Nobile Stradale! Manuels car was … eh… had too hot wheels, and so he got this instead. But as I helped him a bit last weekend, I got the opportunity to pick it up from the dealer and drive it towards his mansion in Friedhain am Meer. How about a father-daughter-event? But don´t tell your stepmother, she would be jealous.
The red hypercar roars off with its gigantic V10, and in the evening, they drive through an industrial area shortly before Friedhain.
So, now I will show you how real getaway drivers do it! Yep, Lars has told me, but also made me realize I was the cause for it. So, now I will show you something above your league, little Miss Trouble!
WATCH OUT, A RADAR TRAP!
AAAAARRRGH SHIT!
No, actually, that is brilliant, now I have a memory about the happiest day of my life!
Yep, make sure to watch that photo as often as possible so that licking Schneiders shoes for fixing this ticket for me is worth it…

Wish I could’ve made a car, but atleast Zephorus is included somehow. Great writing as usual.
I still have space for an NPC car… so you can enjoy another one being dented. Shouldnt be too fast since the opponent is a near-premium SUV. As it´s a winter setting I could explain a lot by the loss of traction.
Can I just ask what AI you used for the pictures?
Of course, its Bing.
For CSCS1 I used Nightcafe, but the quality is rather low. The advantage of Bing is that it uses Dall-E3, but the content policy is very, very restrictive. It is a miracle that I got what I got. Nightcafe also blocks prompts, but has a quite sane level there imo.
One problem is that with the first image of a setting, I don´t type very specific to let the AI be creative, turns out much better than if I dictated it quite strict. On the other hand, it is a nightmare to let the figures and the setting exactly look like before to keep it consistent, often searching for the right words and descriptions to get that.
Ep. 06: Grand Theft Auto
Trigger warning: Death, violence
The pensioned Kriminalrat Dietrich Boehme happily enters a Globus dealership: His new Commander is finally ready for pickup. But when checking the delivery, he notices an ugly welding on the sideskirt, wanting to get this fixed before taking the car. He insists on another spare car until this is done, and the new Bravura he was offered was refused, since he wants a Commander and nothing else. As a blue one was just delivered and registrated, the salesman offered him that one as a lend to get rid of the annoying senior.
At the same time, a thoughtful Sarah clears her desk. Finally it is time to focus on the baby, and all the side effects of a pregnancy are finally to strong too work as a police officer. Sadly she hands over the keys of her Fischer to Lars, urging that he takes good care of it, then rushes out as she wants nobody to see her crying.
A bit later, Frank and Lars eat hotdogs in the city center of Berlau.
We were at the doctors office yesterday, Bad news, it is propably going to be another girl!
Why is that a problem, Frank?
Isn´t that obvious? Sarah, Jenny and now another female? Naaah! That´s a dollhouse then. Although I am a cat person, I might finally allow Sarah a dog, but only if its a male one, then I don´t feel so lonely at home.
I want to have YOUR problems Frank, really!
They were interrupted by a call that a blue Globus Commander was stolen nearby them, and when they rush to the Fischer to respond, the Globus already appeared behind them, going into speed mode after seeing the two cops.
Eh, Frank, Sarah gave the car to ME! Don´t drive it, WE KNOW HOW THIS WILL END!
You just saw that monster of a car? We need my skill behind the wheel, sorry!
The giant Globus landyacht struggles in the city, so the driver heads towards the highway, where it´s easier to shake off the cops. Frank tries to pass, but becomes squeezed into oncoming traffic, the scared driver of the oncoming car panics, locks up and blocks the way for the support units.
Oh no, Frank, we lost Holtmann as backup! He is stuck behind the crash!
Doesnt bother me, he wouldn´t have been of great assistance anyway.
Frank! Enough!
As the tactic was successful, the fugitive tries it again by spinning a car, causing a pileup.
Crap! Stop, Frank, stop! We won´t make it through!
You coward! You see the broken down van on the hard shoulder? SHOOT THE LADDER DOWN, NOW!
Frank, what if the driver is still in it and I shoot him by accident?
Nah, he is right there behind the guardrail as it is required by law. And smoking. SO SHOOT NOW!
LARS! I AM TOO FAST TO STOP NOW! GET IT DOWN!
YES! YEEEEES! GOT IT!
OOOOH CRAAAAAP! BRACE FOR IMPACT!
FRAAAAAAAAAAAANK!!!
Really, you are out of your mind! YOU can explain that to Schneider, not me!
I am just stinky because of the suffering caused by that cheap stretched cocaine that appeared out of nowhere, and we are not capable of getting the source. We control everything all day, all night. Anyway, requesting a new car is form A38b, I have some of them in my desk. Hey look, he leaves the highway, share that on the radio. Kaportkes patrol route isn´t far off from there.
You are mad. Hey, what´s that noise? The engine won´t hold on much longer. We need another ride if we want to keep this up.
Argh, fuck, the only thing I see is a damn hotdog vendor van. Really?
HAUPTKOMMISAR BATIMUS, YOU VEHICLE IS CONFISCATED, GET THE FUCK OUT!
Kommissar Krüger, I apologize for my colleague, the coffee this morning wasn´t good.
He! Will your rude colleague bring me my truck back?
Definitely, but I don´t know in what condition…
Frank rushes off with the van, causing some diesel smoke cloud, forcing another car to dodge and spin.
Eh, partner, I dont want to die because of a fucking car theft, really!
Note that in your diary! We almost had him. DAMN WHY IS THIS TRASHCAN SO SLOW? If I`ll ever make it to 35 this year, this will be the slowest shit I have ever driven.
This is taking ages, damn. I haven´t had visual contact with the suspect for at least three minutes.
Look, Frank! THERE!
He must have known that backup would arrive from the other side. Yes, there is Kaportke. Shit, we will have to proceed on foot.
But sadly, the thief could not be found. And he had enough time to wipe fingerprints, or wore gloves. The car was towed to the department, where a taxi with a furious Dietrich Boehme arrives, wanting to reposess the car, as he and his dog Rex wanted to drive to the sea with the new ride, visiting his sister for her silver anniversary of marriage. Although the procedures would require handing the car back to the owner, so, the dealership, Bernd Schneider agrees on making an exception, as Boehme is already quite late for departure and promises to bring the car back immediately after the celebrations.
On the way to the highway, Rex tells his owner that he would urgently need a walk, so Boehme chooses an industrial area for a short break. Meanwhile a sheep runs across the road, causing the driver of a bronze IP Sterna to make an emergency stop. Boehme also hits the brakes hard, and the Globus spins, but stops safely. But a young lady in an SVP Starcrow is busy trying to charge her phone, and due to distraction crashes into the car in front of her, causing a chain reaction that sends the IP directly into the driver side of the Globus Commander.
The dog freaks out, and Boehme first thinks that it is the shock from the accident, but the former police dog Rex tries to rip off the remains of the sideskirt, right there where is own grey Commander had that ugly welding. When the police arrives to regulate the accident, they found a huge amount of cocaine in the car.
As the car was brand-new, it must have been prepared with the drugs either in the factory in Crafton, Gasmea or while the transport to and from the freight train. The tachograph of the truck picking the car up in Hetvesia shows no stop long enough to weld, and the freight papers prove that the car was directly picked up from the train, as it arrived late and the truck was already waiting. So Schneider makes a call…
Commissioner Mitchell Voss? This is Kriminaloberrat Bernd Schneider from Berlau. I am in need of assistance.
Schneider? Ah, you are that unfortunate individual that wrote an recommendation letter for Harold Walker?
Harold who? Ah, you mean Harald Walkowski! Yes, I did. He was a good cop, so I don´t get what´s your complaint. He was absolutely dedicated to his duty and his clearance rate was outstanding? Is that no longer the case?
Oooh, Mr. Schneider, it is. Absolutely remarkable. Almost as remarkable as the damage and destruction Lieutenant Walker causes by doing his job! So, what is your help request then? I would gladly take any opportunity to keep Walker busy from blowing up our city.
Soon after, Harry visits the Globus factory, detecting nothing suspicious. When focussing on the trucking company that carries the new cars to the train station, he noted that the tachographs might be manipulated, and he decides to order an observation. For a few days, nothing happens, but then the truck drives into an industrial building, getting out again after an hour. The patrol officers try to stop the truck for an investigation, but the resistance was… effective.
Harry, informed via police radio, decides to take the arrest in his own hands, speeding onto the highway and supporting the Crafton police.
Damn, Cliff, there is another cop. It´s an unmarked one. Plan A?
No, there are currently too many after us. Emergency plan B. Although we will loose a car and the cocaine, but better than than jail!
An explosive device deployed, cutting loose the belts that kept a Globus Traveller in place, the car falls off the trailer and causes a massive crash, stopping all cars in pursuit - except for one: Harry Walkowski.
TRY GRENADES! We must shake that guy off!
IT HAS NO USE! Damn, that guy has balls. I guess we need plan A now!
Eh, Jerry, this is Cliff. Listen, now engage plan A. The target is a dark Globus Grand Cruiser directly behind us.
Another grenade - their last one - made Harry dodge and leave the paved road, but he soon catches the spinning car and resumes the pursuit, as suddenly a dark green Vaughn El Mirage GTS approaches with high speed, ramming Harry from behind.
An intense fight with cars and guns takes place, and the cars are ramming each other with full force, but while Harry focusses on shooting on the Vaughn, he is fired at by both the Vaughn and the semi truck.
One bullet finally hit the radiator, and Harry has also two gunshot wounds, one in the shoulder and one in the stomach. Just right after the second hit him in the stomach, the radio informs him:
Lieutenant, this is commissioner Voss! End the pursuit. This is getting out of control. We will launch a helicopter and follow them from a safe distance.
DONT YOU HAVE A HAIRDRESSER TO TELL THIS?
A frustrated Harry shoots the radio and then analyzes his situation. He is bleeding, not severely, but if the adrenaline decreases he won´t be able to keep this up. The water, or what´s left of it in the cooling system, is boiling and the engine will soon be overheating.
Harry then decides for a daring maneuver: He speeds directly beind the trailer, with the smoke and steam of his damaged car taking all the sight for the driver of the Vaughn, then shooting another car loose, letting it roll back and just a second before it falls off, dodge and let the Vaughn, whose driver has no time to react, crash into it.
Harry then activates cruise control and uses the seatbelt to fixate the steering wheel in straight position, climbs out of the sunroof and jumps onto the trailer. As the cars are open with keys in the sunvisor, he decides to speed off with the car on the lower level, causing the trailer to loose balance and flip, also affecting the semi that tilts and skids with high speed towards a gas station. Walkowski honks as hard as possible to warn the people of the approaching danger.
The truck crashes into it, causing a giant explosion, but all people outside ran into the shop, the windows are bursted by the shockwave and some shelves are burning, but everyone remained alive hiding behind the desk.
Walkowski is happy to see that the gangsters are the only casualties when getting out of the blue Phoenix.
Well, this time even one car survived. Nice!
But then an airborne oil barrel just smashes on the roof…
Argh, nevermind.
The episode ends with an exhausted Harald Walkowski smoking a cigarette, frowning at the non-smoking sign, ripping it off and kicking it towards the inferno, then shaking his head and walking towards the sunset.
