In continuing a longstanding tradition, Mara offered the 4th generation Kavaler from the early 2010s onwards again with an inline-4 as well as a V8 twice the size, but this time with versions of the all-new Efektyv DOHC engine family optimised for fuel economy.
As with previous versions, the base-spec Kavaler sedans (and the very similarly shaped liftbacks) quickly became a favourite of Archanan taxi and corporate fleets alike, providing plenty of car in an economical package. Among other things, the 2018 MY base L (sedan) / CL (hatchback) Kavalers featured a more advanced phone integration into the infotainment package than previous MY cars.
More discerning buyers could opt for the higher (C)LX spec (the latter one having the V8 as an option), the new X-Wagon which encroached into premium crossover territory, or, as usual, the performance-oriented AMM versions.
Legion’s enduring compact Sparrow saw a complete overhaul for the 2016 model year, growing in size and featuring bold new styling and an aggressive, muscular shape.
