Any idea why I don’t get the Approxinmate Cost shown in the detailed stats tab?

Hello Guys.
I am confused with the Rules. I want to participate in the sport car category but i am not sure if the car fits into the ruleset.
The Car Body i chose is from 1956 (which is allowed?) but it also shows the trim as 1956.
Is that ok or do i need to choose another carbody?

use the arrow buttons on the top left of the UI:

your trim needs to be 1950, model can be anything <= 1950

I cant go any lower than 56 for this body type

in that case you might need to set your sandbox company’s body tech to +6:

it needs to be +5 on everything except for +6 on body tech

Honestly, dunno how the fuck can my s 2.0 be 1h slower than your 850cc sports car… There’s something terribly wrong in what I’m doing

Oh so i need to start a campain for this because i was building the car in the normal car designer

no, you can add sandbox companies and edit their tech pool:

here you can make a new company and edit it

ah ok i got it now thanks
but still i cannot change the model year to earlier then 1956 for my current car…
guess i have to choose another one

you probably have to transfer the car to the new company.
In the previous screenshot, select sandbox for company A, and your new company for Company B
then press this button:

the default “sandbox” company is the one you should be using, that lets you set the tech pool individually per car

also have you gone back to the model selection screen and tried changing the model year there?

Are you creating the car in sandbox? You should not be making the car in the campaign, I’ve only seen this missing in Campaign mode.

where do you set the tech pool per car on the sandbox company?

click on the button under the quality slider that says “+5”

Dang… Can I export a car from the campaign to use it in the car designer?

Yes, you can export a car from campaign into sandbox.

Can you tell me how?

New for 1950: the Metzgerei Autowerke Nachtigall 850.
