We’re losing all of the entries but the top 16 by the second stage anyways.
this is gonna be tough. i am seriously considering setting up a spreadsheet just for getting to the event
Been there, done that and got the equations!
Journey fuel = economy @ 120kph * 36
Actual Fuel = journey fuel * ((100-offroad)/100)
Min weight = Actual Fuel * 20
Pikes Peak, eh?
I started work on this last night, and there’s still a way to go, but it seems to fit this challenge like a glove.
Howler Prodigy 1983 Pikes Peak Edition:
Too bad I can’t build a turbo I5 that sounds like the world is ending (yet) but I’ll make do.
I’ve forgotten all the math I did for the first one to figure out my fuel efficiency… Not good.
Still, I kinda know what I plan to do.
The year was 1975 and First Order Automotive took part in the Survival of the Fittest challenge.
The car drew many an admiring glance but there was a problem with the technical accountant. It turned out he couldn’t count to 11 without taking at least 1 sock off.
Because of this the styling was beautiful but it was a complete horror story under the dressing.
So this time we decided to pull out the blueprints and remake the body shell. This time around we’ve got rid of the old 4x4 transmission and replaced it with one of these new fangled all wheel drive systems. We bolted in a 3.5 litre, normally aspirated, engine that produces 250(ish) horsepower.
The previously named Cruzer RS2500 is now the Cruzer XJ250.
Still the same beautiful shape and styling but this time it’s black.
Fuel economy isn’t the greatest but we can guarantee that it’ll make it to end of stage 1.
For pictures of the RS2500 please visit….RS2500
if i done the math right
car weight 1200 KG that means 5% is 60
60 liter of fuel tank with a fuel economy of 11 liter per 100 KM
20% of 11 liter is about 13 liter per 100 kilometer
so it should made it 300 kilometers with only 39 liters. which means only 21 liter still remains
Let’s just say that Storm Automotive’s trying the same strategy as last time with a few twists. The engine is still a v8, though transplanted into a car that used to have an Inline 6. Two turbochargers hang from either side of the block, blowing through an intercooler and straight into the engine, an all-aluminum masterpiece with dual overhead cams and some fancy painted valve covers.
This time, we’re not going for the eco-car, though. While we should have enough fuel to make this run, we’re intending on this under-stressed V8 carrying us to victory.
The car is the Storm Sentinel V8RS.
And yes, there is a reason the hood is so heavily ventilated. We’re not telling why, either.
Presenting the 1983 Bogliq Trekker!!!
Here’s hoping that a damage reduction and middle-of-the-road strategy sees me get really close to the final challenge…
i’m getting 1l per 100km… something has got to be wrong here…
How we entry? Sending the exported file from the game by PM to you?
yes
Hello, my fellow friends!
Today the Racing department of GAMA Industries has decide that we are going to compete at this great challenge!
We bring you the R630T:
What else can we say? You see all these vents? Well… We can just say that this car sucks. Sucks a lot!
Hammercat is entering the S12 and hoping to last quite a bit.
A quick question about economy, just to be on the safe side:
It is only about the Cruise@120 km/h value, right? So without the acceleration from 90-120?
Some plucky workers from Erin’s Wythenshawe Assembly Plant have converted a returned Berlose into (what is hopefully) a super tough, go-anywhere endurance racer, aplty naming it The Conqueror.
Unlike many of the other competitors here, this is a low-budget, DIY job. This began life as a luxury saloon, fitted with the optional AWD system and a 3.2l i6. The interior has been stripped out, body panels replaced with aluminum copies and some more black plastic added.

that is how it worked last time
that sucks eh ?
At my first time I uploaded it on mega and posted the link. When he downloaded I erased the coment. Try that.
I believe it’s one of the security features with this forum software. Prevents people from spam-making accounts in order to spread viruses or bloatware. Annoying as it is, it is also helpful.
Adding to @Nomade0013’s idea, you could also upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive.
