i was not concerned with that. i wanted the most pulling power and the smoothest motor
There is something awesome about a V12.
I havenāt built one yet, Iāll stuff around on it this weekend.
Introducing the Shromet Par-
S-stop laughing! I assure you the Shromet Parvus is a REAL utility vehicle! With 5.9 Liter, Compact, Small block V8 under the hood connected to rear wheel drive via a 5 Speed transmission. This Utility van goes from 0-60 in Under 7 Seconds. a full Steel Ladder Chassis, and gets over 20MPG. I know you might be thinkingā¦ 'Why would I buy this POS that I could fit in the back of one of the other cars? But a smart businessā¦Which this Certainly sounds likeā¦ Should appreciate the cost effectiveness of this design. For only 9100 dollars, for every 3 Full size vans, you could afford 4 of the Shromet Parvus, which offers little compromise other than the fewer seats.
First Order Automation would like to present the Centurion, presented in hi-vis yellow.
Safe, easy to drive and comfortable.
A bargain at $11,440.
I have mixed reactions to the JHW Phalanx: plenty of torque but, with a single carb, not much power considering the huge displacement. The sheer weight over the nose will also lead to understeer, and the interior, without a sound system, is too basic for my liking. However, it is quite fast, and amazingly still comes under budget, which is nice, and for its engine alone is literally unlike anything else entered in this round. The Shromet Parvus, on the other hand, is a panel van turned up to 11, whose light weight and powerful engine combine to make a surprisingly fast machine. It doesnāt have as many seats, though. And the FOA Centurion is an enigma; its manufacturer has been very secretive about its specs, except for:
I expect @koolkei and @Rk38 to have their work cut out reviewing these āwild cardsā.
Kraken pffft itās the horse Iād b worried about
quick question
isnāt a longer wheelbase bad for offroad? i mean you can get stuck easier if your wheels are more far away from each other
Well, even if the game doesnāt calculate that, a bigger car sits up higher by default, and can go much higher, resulting in better of road rating. My small car, even with an off road tune and the suspension raised, still suffers in off road performance from being too low.
In general yes, it really depends on what you are doing. My Jeep with its short and narrow wheelbase can squeeze through things better than a longer wheel based vehicle but there are often times their longer wheel base will do better on things like ledges and large gaps.
Well we donāt want to disappoint anyone too early. Especially the Board.
Weāve generally gone into these challenges with a hint of optimism (well a bucket load actually) and done pretty shit. So this time weāre coming in under the radarā¦no expectations at all!!!
Some challenges weāve decided to stay away from in future. CSR, though, is something that can hopefully bring the company some success.
Although we are pleased to see so many companies using the FOE (First Order Engineering) created hardware.
And weāre still waiting for another āRoad Trip Challengeā.
Is a cat required? I dont recall seeing anythig saying whether it was or wasnt.
When you say your old car can haul almost everything, the word āalmostā is the one we took notice of. This is generally the word being used when there is a lack of power and especially a lack of torque. Now, in our car you may wonder how many torques there are? The answer is simple: ALL of them!
Introducing the ABR Husky XT, and as its namesake this car sure can pull its own weight and then some. And for a car thatās weighing in at 1660kg thatās not to be fobbed off.
Powered by a 8794cc V8, this brick delivers 376hp@4100 RPM and no less than 854nm@1900 RPM. Already at idle you have 480nm at your disposal which is almost 120nm more than the peak of your current car.
As you can see from the pictures this is a car designed for harsh working environments. The foglights and front fender is covered by a steelguard to keep them intact. Above you have the winch to get yourself or others out of a tough spot if you get stuck in a remote area. On the roof you have roof rack for materials that cant fit in the car and a removable light rack that doubles as driving and working lights. On the rear of the car there is a tow hook as that is what this car is meant to do.
And should you by some turn of events find yourself in a bit of a hurry, like if you are late for work or having a dragrace on a remote road, do not worry. Even with offroad tyres the Husky XT does 0-100 in 5,6 seconds and continues all the way to 251km/h. The quartermile is done in the fourteens.
Priced @ 11.990$
So I just went to double-check the deadlineā¦
Iām assuming you mean 2016. 2018 is a bit of a gap for the CSR.
I assumed a catalytic converter was required, so I fitted my entry with one.
Weāve covered this
@KLinardo nah man, iām evolving the CSR into a yearly challenge
yeah. 2 days left.
waitā¦ i didnāt specify a timeā¦ let me fix that.
