Like all three, but in my book, more is… well, more, so I’d go for the last one  just a quick reminder of 1986 tho

yup the pics are old and the date stamps mean nothing lol. Im torn between the 9.1L or the 5.4L RPG v8 (tuned by Darkshines). Damn it would be cool to have a single dcoe option or themoquad carbs in game
edit: yes tuned how I would personally have the v8 IRL not what works well in game if that makes sense.
engine provided by RPG then tinkered with by myself

wtf does that mean… tuned by… yourself?

dat fuel economy and torque, but still the engine size probably will hurt the car cost

two of us have 600nm+

Couldn’t get much higher in the current body shell and still stay within parameters of the challenge, initially my goal was 1000nm+ and I failed :pensive:

Trygve and Espen are up to their tricks again are they? :joy:

Indeed. There might have been a few cocky remarks about “no problem, easy as chicks in a KFC” and the like from Trygve, followed immediately by a wager regarding a case of rum and a week in a Hyundai Matrix from Petter. There is a LOT of shame in the workshop this afternoon

yet another 600+Nm engine, and here I am, being naive (or is it stupid) hoping that one day the automation community will come closer to real world and see that flat 300Nm curve is enough for 95% of stuff. or that 180hp in city car is enough or 7.5 sec to 100 does not seem sluggish in non-sports car or…

the only car i’ve seen that seems to be not up to the task is the one from our good friend Ariano, with a piddly 4 pot

well, you’ll just have to see

Well I’m sorry that I can’t make a 39,000 horsepower car that gets 1200 mpg city!

I’m just hoping that I’ve done well enough with this one. I don’t want to keep widening this losing streak I’ve been on.

pretty sure my engine is not efficient as Darkshine, probably my fault increasing fuel mixture to squeze more power

and you forget that round master current car also have about 633 Nm torque engine IIRC. also most car seems is lacking of power according to roundmaster statement yesterday :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh…It does? oh well…why would a company car need them torques anyway…

For when the white truck needs to haul out the yellow one of course

Which car do you mean? When I checked (right now) the benchmark car it shows 362Nm?

I understand your frustration and kinda agree with your point, but I want to make the case for those of us (read; myself) that do these stupid/unrealistic cars.
First off, I have yet to win a round of CSR, and I do not believe I will win this one either. My car could’ve been better if I scaled back the engine in all categories mentioned. Higher comfort, drivability, prestige and fuel eco with just more reasonable choices. It has a 2(!) speed manual gearbox
And while in real life you have to take into account wear and tear, parts cost, resellability and so on, this is a numbers game and some of us (once again, read; myself) get stuck on just a few of those. It’s about making the fastest car possible within the constraints of the challenge, and if possible in a body that most won’t use as others are better suited.

To conclude, I believe your reasonable car wil demolish mine in the actual challenge, hence I must have my fun beforehand

G+H Engineering is proud to present the Titania RH, a contender for your next fleet vehicle. Powered by a 4.8L OHC V8, the Titania offers improved power and economy without the need for fancy fuel injection systems.

Inside, you’ll find six captain’s chairs (because who actually sits in the middle of the bench seat?) and plenty of room for transporting tools and cargo.

The Titania RH starts at $11,660.

my v8’s rule lol. Big bore short stroke medium compression 14.8;1 A/F medium timing 30’s camshaft profile with SOHC 2 valve heads no VVL/VVT and centrepoint injection. Simple recipe that work every time for high toque economic reliable v8’s. I would normally put +6 into fuel system as well

lol mine will be built with a tow capability of say…a 12 horse Horse float using a fifth wheel tow setup so about 5000kg’s rated. plus its Australia if it not a v8 or a inline 6 diesel it should be written off as “City Shit”

I’m waiting until they put V10s in the game, then I’ll make some serious towing rigs.
