How on earth did you manage that? By the way, I was content with just 175 mph, which I felt was enough considering my car’s relatively modest power output (around 325 bhp). Not that there would be enough room on most roads to actually reach that kind of speed, even in 1995. And am I really the only one here using a pushrod V8? Every other engine I’ve seen this round appears to be a single or double overhead camshaft design.
Pushrods are severely underpowered at present. Hopefully when engine revamp is done they’ll be more competitive.
Eh. I’ve been there, if you can get it to be cheap enough to be competitive, go for it. But you need to go for vheap because that’s the only place that it has an advantage…
@Leedar underpowered at this point? They are quite believable number though. Even compared to real life figures. That’s just the limitation of it. By mid 90s lots were already moving to at least 3 valves sohc for higher end cars

#1995 Nadier-Schoefield Spritely Speeder
Based on the 1982 redesign of the 1946 GT Coupe, the 1995 Nadier-Schoefield Spritely Speeder is a modern take on an old classic.
With luxury interior and hydropneumatic suspension, the Spritely is as comfortable as a lying in linen bed at the Ritz. However, the Spritely is no slouch either. With a 13L V12 originating from twin engine heavy fighters in WWII, the Spritely is quick. While the engine has been detuned for a more sedate 517hp, the Spritely will happily reach 192mph and go from 0-60 in under 5 seconds, and at a price of £51,000, its a steal, especially considering that you wont find another car like this!
:EDIT: I didnt read the rules, so the price is borked. It should have been £51,000 not £31,250
Zenshi GT 4.0EE '95
Photoshop creds to @ramthecowy
High Spec Driving.
4.0EE priced at ¥4,779,330 ($43,200).
With the deadline approaching, I am definitely awestruck at the quality of the ads, especially the more recent submissions; the Zenshi GT in particular is quite stylish, with echoes of the 180SX Type X, while the GBF Bellisa has some obvious Ferrari overtones here and there, and as for the Spritely Speeder… well, it takes balls to submit what is essentially a restomod based on a car that’s up to a half-century old! And on top of that, the '95 Apophis reminds me of what an R129 SL would be if it were a fixed-head coupe, while the Vengeance’s front fascia, fittingly, looks angry! In addition, the Zeal clearly evokes memories of the 993 GT2, with an extra pair of cylinders thrown in for good measure, while the Diamond and Bonham don’t just look the part, but ought to drive as good as they look from first impressions alone.
One thing’s for sure: deciding on a winner, let alone several finalists, could turn out to be a nightmare with the quality of the field for this round!

All this for $51,000.00

#The Bonham Fleming Six
The finest GT car ever concieved in the British isles long lives. In this model, the sporty feel has been enhanced by the aluminium construction, making this car light and nimble through the corners, yet rigid and solid enough for cruising. The interior is filled with the finest leather and a top-notch CD auto-changer, played through 12 speakers.
The engine on this entry-level Fleming is the same as the one found on the Chaucer Brooklands, only retuned for 10 extra horsepower, adding up to 310 hp from the 3.0 DOHC 24-valve straight-six. That power is put to the ground by a 5-speed automatic, which is helped by a limited slip differential.
As in typical Bonham fashion, a bottle of liquor is added to the car. For the Fleming, it comes with gin and a jar of olives.
Shake yours for $52,000.

The Bellisa packages sleek modern styling with classic Italian flair elegance allowing customers to enjoy spirited performance driving without foregoing driveability or comfort.
Produced from 1995 until 2005 with a major refresh in 2000 giving the design an even more sleek and streamlined shape while retaining the elegant lines of the original. The Bellisa was introduced with three trim levels the standard GT with a 5-speed manual, the GTA with a 4-speed automatic and the GTS only offered as a 5-speed manual with a more sporty and aggressive setup. All trims were also offered with an optional 2+2 package.
GBF Bellisa 4800 GTA
$51,000 (+100%)
It looks like a 550 Maranello (an anachronism; the 550 did not debut until 1996) and is clearly inspired by one, with performance to match; in short, the Bellisa is, as the Italians might say, una bella machina!
Anyway, back in '95, quite a lot of these cars would have looked even better with someone like Pamela Anderson standing next to them!
