Top Gear Challenge (Active again) (Round 1 Ended)

I’m working on the reviews of the cars (18 contestant), it will be a long work. ETA next week (“when ready” quote)

Waiting that time you can compare your car to other’s ones with this spreadsheet

Yes, i know, it’s a bit confusing…there are so many numbers, but you have the filters

Francesco

 Sorry to be a pain but my company is Bell and the model name is Lexarion

Yeah sorry to be a pain too, it’s “Berlose” not “Belrose”

I’m sorry to everyone, but i’m a human (for the most part) and i often make mistake, if you find an error, send me a PM or reply here, i’ll change immediatly. (I’ve manually copied every number)
Also, some names are missing, if you want to include it, just tell me somehow.

It’s not a problem, everyone makes mistakes, I am yet to get the courage up to make competition of my own

Tonight, a family car tested, another family car, a boring van…

Welcome to Top Gear, tonight we’ll try to find the best V8 family car of all time.
We have choose 18 cars from 1952 to 2016, we will try to give an advice to a young petrolhead father for his new car.

Here the contestants.

##1999 Galt Automotive Kyaria SP1

###4L 227HP 17000$

One word: BOOORING, a normal van, 7 standard
seat, a lot of space inside. But wait, can you hear it? Is a rombling sound of
a 4L V8, with 227HP and an awful economy rating….

##1996 FSO Hussar V8 Combi

###3L 176HP 14000$

In 1997 this was the best selling sport wagon,
why? Very good performance and decent comfort at a quite low price. A V8 for
everyone. Plebeians

##2016 Bell Lexarion V8DHe

###4,4L 264HP 20000$

The newer and more expensive version of the Hussar,
the real premium sedan, WOW, so exciting, much power.

##1987 Erin Berlose Lex+ 2.6

###2,6L 146HP 16500$

A living mith, in the 80’s all the petrolheads with children dreamed of buyng one of this, cheap to mantain, fun to drive and pretty good looking, only one drawback: NO POWER AT ALL

##1967 Peotoskey Romero SE

###7.1L 246HP 15000$

HORN SOUND, please make way for 'MURICAAAAAA. An extra large ship, with an helipad on the trunk and space for spare engine under the bonnet.

##1953 ECV Rune FT

###2L 100HP 10000$

The granny, the oldest of the lot, stilish interior, a classic body but wait… where is the power???

##2016 Adenine Valence Sport V8

###3,5L 370HP 19500$

370HP under the bonet, breathtaking acceleration, but with a battery chinese stereo. Who needs music when you ha a
V8?

##1991 Bogliq Fox GT300

###3,5L 246HP 19500$

If you are confortable to let your children sit on the engine, this is the car for you. P.S. there are no space for toys here.

##2013 AEM Superbia

###9.6L 885HP 20000$

885HP Cubed, sorry, in a cube, with a massive 10L engine.

##1978 H.A. 455 E

###5L 285HP 17500$

Can you hear it? It’s the Mafia sound, some say if you buy this car you receve a free Tommy Gun.

##1960 Routemaster Tourer Refitted

###3,5L 227HP 20000$

What the hell they have done here? A new block in an old car? Really, i can’t get it. P.S. I love suicide doors.

##2009 Izen Ildor V8

###4L 289HP 15000$

Large and heavy, i don’t like the plastic interior, but it’s useful with child :mask:

##1978 Roadship 547 LE

###9L 781HP 12000$

Oh, what a day! What a lovely day! Witness me. (Mad Max reference) A chrome car? Seriusly? Roads? Where we are going we don’t need roads (ok, i stop, i’m sorry) but we’ll need a ton of fuel (2km/l 5mpg)

##1969 ANZ Motors Buzzsaw 2.8v8

###2,8L 95HP 12000$

Have you fastened your seat belt? Yes! U DON’T NEED THAT, it’s a death machine.

##1988 Storm Star GX

###3,4L 363HP 19500$

Remember to tie you child to the seat, it can fly away at 250km/h. Plus you have all the space for cargo you need, the sky is the limit (litteraly).

##1985 F Wagon Traveller

###4L 201HP 12000$

One of the biggest engine of the lot. It looks so small in here. P.s. remember to purchase a stair to get on board.

##1963 Eagle Automotive Co. El Govnor LX

###4,5L 192HP 13500$

Bling Bling baby. You know what’s the most purchased mod for this car? Hydraulic Suspensions. Bouncing Hydraulics. And big subwoofers.

##1998 Mive F1

###4L 289HP 20000$

It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s a van. At 300km/h (200mph). Expensive, but soooo good.

The first envelope:

After the break.

I am nitpicking a bit here but my car is a 2016 model, the Lexarion itself is from 2013 but the trim is 2016 making it a 2016 car

YEAH.
a van capable of nearly 300km/h in 1998!

(btw 300km/h is only around 185mph)

Oooh, I’ve got the most drivability, and 2nd most economical car. Neat.

I’ve noticed now, there are so many suicide doors. Apart from the vans, i hope they have sliding doors, there are 4 cars with front mounted rear door handles.

Woo! And now it begins…

My car is indeed a Mafia car. The Russian Mafia. Don’t mess with them or their Archana engineering

Not surprised I have the highest comfort, it’s got a luxury interior. Not a very good one, but one nonetheless.

on my entry, you put 227 on top and 277 on the bottom…

A preview of the next challenge.

I sense a classic Top Gear drag race

Sounds like another race I’m going to lose…

Out of curiosity…do Brogliq make cars in any other colours?

There was once a maroon Bogliq (it seems to be misspelt by Francesco), but it was non-canon. I’d assume all Bogliqs are blue.

Ah, what a wonderful sound! Wonder how well the Star holds up. As the only convertible in the lineup (or maybe one of two) I feel I may have let aesthetics get the better of me…

My car is underpowered becuase it was made in the 50s as a mid-range sedan.

Still, for that audio clip, I am guessing my car is the last one (because slow  )
