Also the terrible 1981-1987 Dodge Charger… a subcompact with an I4. I only consider it terrible because it’s got the Charger name on it.

AFAIK no company wants to admit that they have made the diesel for it
And for the first time, I used all my likes… All on this thread
Mr. Regular appears to be right about Toyota diverting attention from their compacts to their crossovers. The consumer is so often fickle and ill-advised.
had it been launched 10 years down the line, it may have been a better story.
also, the car was a critical design influence for the early generation of streamliners like the T77 and Mercedes 130, which, in turn, influenced multiple others.
Indeed. I’ve had a look round one and at first glance it appears to be far better than the Nissan Juke, which somehow sells in massive numbers. It seems to have stolen the Micra’s market over here, and they’re ugly as sin.
Toyota seem to be aiming it as a Juke upgrade almost, won’t see much of that happening near me though as I’m a few miles from the Nissan factory, so there are lots of cheap Jukes and Leafs roaming around here.
I wouldn’t say that about them classic Jaguars like the one shown here, which are being appreciated by collectors worldwide due to their -should i say- radical design aesthetics and overall beauty. As for the Lamborghini Countach -specially the 5000S Quatrovalvole, which is my favorite- , it represented the quintesential dream car of the '80s thanks to its overall performance and squared-off looks, not mentioning that rear wing though…
