Not from me you won’t. I’ve disliked the aesthetic of the Veyron since it was first released and I would have much preferred the VW prototype to have made production instead of it!
I’m with you too. The Veyron is ugly and obese. I don’t like any car that has a “traditional” grill just for having one; and not because it looks good on the car and flows with the lines. Alfa Romeo is the greatest offender, followed by Bugatti and BMW.
The Chiron’s a little better because the headlights amuse me, and so does the litteral C Pillar.
Speaking of Alfa… this thing;
Dat beak… and the fixture spam. Give a 13 year old Automation and this is what you’ll get. It just lacks a whale-tail wing.

I concur… The 8C is indeed, IMO, the best designed Alfa built before the new RWD sedans
I haven’t been paying much attention to those, but arent they just Maserati with a different set of headlamps? I mean that’s what they did with the 8C and it worked, but if they’re building a daily sedan on those components then God help the people who buy one.
To be fair, wasn’t the 8C just a rebodied and rebadged Maserati GranTurismo?
From what I recall, the car is a bespoke chassis that was designed by a former Audi guy. The chassis, I believe, is going to be shared with Chrysler and form the underpinnings of the new Challenger.

The original Veyron was kinda ugly but the Vitesse is really pretty IMO. It’s amazing what a few changes can do for the looks.

Actively hate : Veyron, Rodius, Multipla
Actively love : GTR, Miata, BMW E60 M5, initial D, Carthrottle clown host Alex
Know about cars : Pretty much nothing, it’s enough.
I feel like driving wise the European 4c is better,
but by looks the US model is better because the fixture cluster doesn’t look like absolute herpes

I really get my panties in a twist when people say the Veyron is slow and sluggish unless going in a straight line, they are ignorant.
It would help if they had made it lighter, but the looks of the Veyron aren’t the best. But it is a bit old now. The Chiron is a big improvement in looks IMO.

In any case the GTR is just as heavy as the Veyron (Within 100 kilos), veyron has a lower center of mass and wider wheels, more powerful engine and MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better quality interior and overall build. I do not see what’s the problem with GTR being “pure speed machine” and Veyron being “Fat pig”
You can dislike it all you want. You don’t disrespect a car that can have a guy with a fresh driver’s license going 430 kph pretty safely.
Because GTR is made from glorious nippon plastic, rattles over 10000 times on your average road trip
